My UNPLANNED C-SECTION - What I Wish I Knew - the TRUTH (it sucked)
I had an unplanned c section and the aftermath was really hard. Recovery was physical and emotional and I don't think this topic gets the attention it deserves. Listen to me rant a bit about it, but also give some tips and advice - things I wish I had known/done differently.

    I can identify a lot with your video, I left the States seventeen years ago! my son was born in the States, and my wife is not German but grew up in Germany and was born in Poland, so guess who sacrificed? It sounds like the same is true for your husband if he is German, he deep down might feel the same as you after a few years in the States? My son is now seventeen and soon to go into the famous Ausbuildung, I would rather my son be put and taught by a professional like a lawyer and not him choose to go to Walmart or McDonald's for work or, worse yet, to deliver newspapers. Where is your husband's family? I bet he will miss them too! Do not take it wrong I'm just giving you my opinion, I feel stuck like I do not belong, and we have properties and family in Poland, so it's a no-go for us to go back to the States maybe my son will take that route as he gets older. say hello to the States or Colorado for me, I always wanted to move there after California got so crowded. I wish you and your new family many happy days back in the States!

    Air Conditioning is a huge Energiefresser, in times when we should be more alert about our environmental problems we shouldn't make things worse by using air conditioning, flying around the world several times in a year and driving oversized cars. Being aware of this is neither annoying nor ridiculous.

    Just remember that cats don’t wash their paws after they leave the cat box. Oh wait, what’s that parasite that lives in cat poo? Oh yeah, it’s several. Including ones that cross the blood brain barrier. There is a reason people used to say cats could steal a kids soul. It because they cause deadly illnesses in infants. Freaking brainiac.

      The cat can walk away if it doesn't want to be pet or bothered 🤷‍♀️ my cat hates almost everyone except my 1 year old. She always has a resting bitch face but she will let my son do anything to her and loves it. Not your kid or cat, mind your business 😘

    • @tiffariff
      @tiffariff 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Disagree, if anyone knows cat behavior, would know the cat would never let the kid get even close to it if the cat wasn’t comfortable with kid. The fact the cat stays shows how much the cat loves the kid, albeit the window one the cat was very focused on what was outside and was slightly annoyed at the kid being on top of them as they were focused- but STILL let the kid stay and didn’t move away.

      I’ve grown up around cats, I was this kid once. The cat definitely isn’t loving these interactions, but the fact it’s just sitting there shows it has patience. It’d walk away or scratch the baby if it wanted to trust me, I have many scars from cats as a baby. The cat is likely not loving it but not miserable, just thinking “what have I gotten myself into?”😂

    If you have a whole lot of money, the US is a nice place to live. Otherwise I would always prefer Germany because of: - Excellent social security system - Excellent and (almost) free Health Care - Excellent and (almost) free Schools and Universities - Extremly low crime rate (compared to the US) - Fantastic and not expensive organic food - Don't forget the "Autobahn" 🙂 - Excellent local transportation system (compared to the US) - A paradise for pedestrians and cyclists (compared to the US) - 30 days vacation pay every year - Continued payment of wages in case of illness ...and I haven't even mentioned the fantastic bread yet...

      I give you a huge 10 outta 10 you are right! back then in the 80s I was able to live and rent a house by myself in the states and now you can forget it is so expensive! I live in Germany and cycle and hike a lot and I can go 10 minutes and have a river and tons of trees around me, my wife broke her shoulder paid free .10 buck for ambulance, broke my finger three weeks home paid, one moth vacation paid, etc... etc..ok i got it ofma chest, I feel better now.

    It is also normal for Germans to find social groups in sports clubs, various other associations, at work, school or university. So it is not just a "problem" for foreigners. For example, we moved from Berlin to Kiel within Germany. We only found new friends here when our children went to kindergarten. That's just how it is. I think it will be similar in every country. You don't just go out and find friends. It doesn't work like that. And of course one should have a fairly good command of the language of the country. I don't think I would make many friends in the USA without English or Spanish.

  • @SkandalRadar
    @SkandalRadar 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    That's not true. You don't have to decide at the age of 11 whether you want to go to university or not. You can also do your Abitur without having to go to university. Or you can do your Realschule first and then, if you want, do your Abitur later via a technical grammar school or by switching to a normal grammar school. It's true that if there is no comprehensive school nearby, you should decide where you want to go after primary school. Academic performance is also a reason for the choice. If you have deficits, a grammar school would be the wrong choice because you simply won't be able to keep up with the material. Apart from that, there are also private schools, such as Waldorf School or Montessori. These are also an option, depending on the wishes of the students and parents. My children, for example, go to a Waldorf school.

    You can make your own tortillas- simply use flour, salt, shortening - to avoid the little man with a sombrero. You can cook black beans, and I know cheese and onions are available in Germany. Grow your own cilantro and tomatoes. Just saying.

    Honestly, it is unacceptable to make people wait like this unless there has been an emergency. In that case, people should be notified so they know what to expect. ...BTW. who waits 3 hours for a sick note? Unacceptable! We have issues in the US too. Alot of doctors have poor staff compared to 20 years ago. You can wait for months to get appointments and sit for hours. I think it also depends where you live too. Shortages of doctors are becoming common. The health care companies make this profession unattractive to young people going into the field. High stress and low pay😢

    That talk about cultural appropriation is BS. All instruments for an orchestra were invented and belong to the European culture! Do I now have to call out every other country outside Europe when there is an orchestra playing? All the famous old composer's Bach, Mozart, Wagner and most others were from Germany shall I now call out everyone who is not German playing their music for cultural appropriation? No, I feel honoured that other people from foreign countries play their music. Otherwise all African nations would only be allowed to play drums and nothing else! Look at America before the Europeans came to America there was no other culture as the indigenous people.

    u can buy a mobil AC..... sry for no Mexican food...... and yep when u force people with your CA woke Sights it can be that people dont connect...^^ my wife has have same struggle, caus ese must tell every person she meet How "moraly" better she is and that "USA is the World Leading Power..." and why the Damn germans dont always agree with her.... she was able to critic everything around her... but could self not stand when people told there Opinion to her back....and was directly Offended..... liek we in germany say.... "So wie du in den wald reinrufst so schallt es heraus" so like u call into the Forrest so its sound back to U...^^ be More open.... and dont expect that everything Revolves around u...

  • @jamesnelson6980

    Stop whining about AC! And not everyone wants Mecican food. You need to blend in more with the Gremans...they are wonderful, strong people, and will accept you, if you accept them! If you don't speak German, learn a few phrases and words, be careful of "Sie" and "du". Some take offense to that. But I ejoyed your video. Deutschland ist die schonste land der Welt!
