Our very own Eco friendly 100% cotton, internally & externally gelatine sized, deckle edged handmade paper from India.
The machinery normally used to make paper uses a considerable amount of energy, turning paper pulp into a giant roll of perfectly dry paper in barely a minute. Our handmade papers however are made from recycled cotton, they are individually set into the moulds and then dried slowly in the Indian sun. The water used in the production is then run off to irrigate the field neighbouring the factory. These papers are also made in special small moulds which allows us to produce beautiful deckle edged sheets in 1/4 & 1/2 imperial sizes. All papers are available at an unbeatable price!
1/4 and 1/2 sheets are deckled on all four sides of the 140lb & 200lb papers.
It is a challenging surface but those who love it find it very rewarding. It is a very soft paper and has low sizing so you have to be an confident watercolourist or an experimentalist to love it.

Felting Mulberry Papers Using the Korean Art of Joomchi. - The Beggining - exploring the process.
I appreciate the way you showed us the process from beginning to end - preparing paint, range of mark making tools and the results of trial and error exploration which is the most important aspect of this endeavour. Your approach is encouraging and inspiring. Thank you.
I love the yellow-green light that was at the bottom right while you were working. it reminded me of a kind of northern lights. When you framed it and it came to the top left, it wasn't so ‘catching’ for me anymore
beautiful, I like this very much. Yeasterday I have started to make my own paper, but I use selfcooked glue of Cornstarch and Water. seem to work really good, as I see on pieces who already dried.Another projekt: I mixed recycled paper and my home-made glue and applied it as a perforated structure on foil. This is of course much thicker than the napkin technique and I'm afraid it will be very hard. Would t make sense to mix in some oil to soften the structures,?
Hi. Seems you are creating your own process - perfect. Use and get to know what you have at hand x. Your recycled paper, glue, and foil sound very interesting. It is difficult for me to make a judgement about adding oil as it will depend on how you intend to use your creation. Sound good fun xxx enjoy x
I'm back...I going to make the stars, I'll include one or two in a few Christmas cards, so I just came back to check I had remembered things correctly. I had forgot completly about the trees 😵💫so I'll do a few of those too, also the sgaffito step I'd not remembered that either.! ! 😵💫😵💫Thanks again for sharing👌👍
Hi Jane. I hope you are well and warm and good to see you back again x. I mentioned scraffito and even I had to take look to remind myself what I had shown in the video, He he xx. Thanks for watching and I hope you get some decorations ready xxxx Keep well and all the best. X
This is very interesting process with some great results🎉 thx for sharing 😊
My pleasure, yep it's a great technique, loads of potential. Thanks for watching all the very best Louise x
The paper your cutting up at 2:21 is lovely. Have you got a video on how you made it⁉️ what’s the substrate⁉️ did you momigami it⁉️ sorry lots of questions… interesting procedure 😱 thx for sharing 🎉
Sorry, I seemed to lose this comment, so am.late in a reply. The paper is Mulberry paper that has been Joomchied. See the video .- How to Felt Mulberry Paper. I used 600 GSM stretched water colour paper as the substrate. I stretched it and stuck all the collage on. Thanks for watching x All the best, Lou
Beautiful and inspiring thank you. I’m currently doing momigami on my bed (disabled artist). This gives me a lovely idea to make a journal out of it. 🫶🏽
Thank you and glad you like it X. Enjoy X
I've watched other artists doing the same or similar techniques, but the videos were much better.
Hi, yes sorry the audio wasn't very good but I will do the session again sometime. many thanks for watching X

Hey, thanks! Thanks for watching and for loyalty and for for the welcome xxx Good to see you too XX
Thank you. I just love this video. I far prefer tools which give unexpected results and these tools you have fashioned are the sort of things I like to work with. You have given me many new ideas as well and I look forward to trying them out.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching and enjoy X
I love your method. I especially like that your hands are covered in paint and that you use the leg of a chair as a roller. My kind of artist ! My motto is, "Use whatever works." Keep making these delicious images.
Thank you so much! I'm glad my chaos is appreciated. Thanks for the lovey feedback and for watching. All the very best, Lou

Thank you x
At 41.35m I howled out loud. To pick something up that has probably been quite happy to say to all the other works ‘I’m done, I’m ready for the customer’. Then take it by the ear and scuff it one with some blue haha. Love it.
Yep - decisions, decisions. Never quite sure XXX Glad you had a lttle laugh XX we've all been there XXX All the very best, Lou
I'm so glad you're working on camera again. You have been missed. I love how you speak through the process while you are creating. Thank you for sharing your journey with us.

Just love this video… will definitely be trying this
Hope you enjoy. Thanks for watching. All the best, Louise XXX Have a great day X
I could not stop watching! I’m totally mesmerized. Your customers should be proud to hang your work. I learned a lot. I’m not an acrylic artist. I do have them. My favorite paying is Chinese watercolor for painting. I’m primarily a water based oil printmaking artist. Thank you so much for this opportunity to learn from you. ❤
Hi. I really enjoy exploring the attributes of all the mediums and the possibilities that they offer. The Chinese watercolur approach is a really interesting one. Thanks for the reminder x
Those two pieces are exquisite!
Glad you like them! Thanks for taking the time to let me know, much appreciated x
What a fascinating process! I just found your channel and really like your art.... really stunning. Now going back to look at other of your videos. Thanks for sharing your talent. Can I just ask what paint you are using?
Hi welcome and thanks for watching. It's acrylic. Nothing special, just layering diluted acrylic. The paper is absorbant so the pigment is absorbed and no need to add an acrylic medium to fix the diluted layers. X
I love watching you create your pieces with all the different techniques, nice to see you back !
Thank you so much! So nice that you enjoy it. Thanks for taking the time to let me know. Xx
So lovely to have you sharing your art with us again x
Thank you for the welcome back. Much appreciated. It's good to be doing them again and lovely to such a welcoming response 😊 xx
🎉YAAY!! So happy to see you!!! ❤
Ohhhh that's a nice greeting xxx Glad to be back. X

You’re so wonderfully talented; this process was truly clever and interesting! Thank you for posting :)
You are so welcome! Many thanks for watching x. All the best, Louise
Stunning!
Thank you! 😊
It's so interesting because how you're seeing the painting is upside down to how we are seeing the painting. I love your process! And it's interesting that we have slightly different perspectives. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for watching Darcy, and many thanks fot the feedback. Very interesting and probably something I need to be more aware of. Many thanks and all the very best, Louise
Lovely and inspiring work from Oregon USA. ❤
Thank you so much! Hello Oragon X
Hello! I am a textile artist, I work with felt. You have a beautiful result, however I think it is too much effort. I would like to suggest you replace the bamboo mat with a woven plastic mesh. Look for a tightly woven mesh, you will see that it reduces the felting time and effort. Greetings!!!
Great advice, many thanks X
Thanks for sharing this series. The technique and the result is amazing!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for letting me know that you enjoyed it. Once you get used to painting the different layers you will see that it provides some lovely effects. Thanks again and all the best, Louise
❤
Thank you
You are so blessed. I wish I could be a full time artist!
Hi, yes I am very fortunate xxxx
How would you seal that?
You can seal them with acrylic medium. either gloss or matte. X
Beautiful work!! Thank you so much for sharing!!
My pleasure, thank you for watching x
Really unique ❤ I'm more of a watercolorist, so wondering if that would work as well. I envision the colors running/settling along the lines of the yarn. What are your thoughts on this? Thanks so much!
Yes that's exactly what happens.Enjoy xxxx
Thank you for the sketchbook and well done on hitting 10k subscribers.
Thank you so much 😀
Simply amazing, hopefully you can figure out how to set up a way to purchase from you . I would purchase. Love your work , your talent is fabulous ❤❤
Yep I need to figure out a sales platform. Thanks for watching and thanks for your support. All the very best Louise
I love this, it really helped me think through my stack of papers that need to become a something other than be a stack of papers. Thank you so much Louise.

Oh my how fascinating! TH-cam is such an amazing source of all things interesting and fabulous! I’ve never heard of this art form but am inspired to learn more about it. Asian aesthetic is so appealing to me because the technique often seems hidden. Unusual materials add to this mystery.
You are so right. Mindful, respectful and a lesson in material, integrity and form. X Many thanks for watching. All the best, Louise X
