    I just love when you stop midsentence and express wonder of what’s happening on the paper. Because that’s exactly how I feel. It’s so beautiful and mesmerizing you can’t help it!

    Very excited to see this uploaded and loved every minute. I have been experimenting with your work as my teacher/influencer. Your pieces have really resonated with me today and Im off to my workspace to play. I look forward to seeing more of what you make. I really admire your skills particularly in the Korean and Japanese paper techniques. AND colour choices. I struggle with colours but I am learning the colour mixes and I get mud less often. Hope you are good. We are cold here in Western Australia which makes painting a little less exciting because I do it in a shed. But Id rather be painting than anything else.

      @LouiseJannetta  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Oh and if you struggle with colour try to keep thing simple at first like more mono colour work and then add in colours that really interest you XXX. I had a brilllian piece of advice once, - "to make bright colours only mix the warm colours (red based) with other warm colors or the cold ones9 blue based) with only cold colours. If you mix warm with cold then they tend to turn more earthy. XX😀

    Hi Louise! Oh I love love love these! Especially the pink ones 💗 your stringy one is very cool! The last one you showed us, you could maybe use a green oil pastel? Only a suggestion...perhaps a mossy green? Anyway I love them all and already subscribed 💕 TUFS 😁

    I do sooo love the very subtle colours that you use in this video!! I am not yet comfortable in my self as an artist to even know how my paints will react the way that you seem to be. I am still finding new brands and colours that I didn't know were available. I have been experimenting with colour mixing and adding black or white to change hues and tints and it has been great fun experimenting!! I am a colour-aholic and am now trying to tone down my use of vivid colours and am even trying new to me, neutral palettes! I do love neutrals in my work but there's nothing like "in your face" brilliant purples, wines, reds and brilliant metallics!!

      Sorry, I was on hols for a couple of days - back to it now. X A helpful tool for colour theory (probably necessary) is the colour wheel and some basic understanding of colour relationships. There are books that help you with all the ranges of colour tones and hues, from bright, intense colours to earthy hues, both warm and cold. 😀however colours are there to excite and to be loved so enjoy X
