You're having far too much fun Louise! I love the versatility of acrylic paint and I like your demo of scraping off the paint to show the layer underneath. I've been painting with fluid acrylic paint onto heavy watercolour paper with good effect. 😊

Hi, yep, I am enjoying the journey. Experimentation leads to all sorts of possibilities. Acrylics offer a great scope of mark-making; I have just begun to see what I can get from the medium. X😀

Hi Mary, I know I appear to jump from medium to medium and project to project, but they all tie into each other and will reveal a lovely breadth of process that informs across mediums.😀 Thank you so much for the lovely comment and for coming on this journey with me.😀XX All the very best and I look forward to speaking again, Louise

Maybe I knew this at one time but at age 74, I suppose I can be forgiven for forgetting that acrylic paint is made of plastics. No more down the drain. Thanks for your this reminder and your channel. 😊

Can you tell me what brand of Acrylic Binding Medium you are using? I am having trouble finding anything called that.

Robersons Pigment Binding Acrylic Medium - Add to dry pigments (or pigment milled into a paste with water) to create acrylic paint. Also useful to mix into thin, dilute washes of acrylic paint to prevent the paint from being dislodged by further layers. This is not the product I use but a similar one with a good description stating that it is a medium used to bind the acrylic particles together when diluted. If you dilute acrylic paints too much, there is not enough binder to keep the paint stable.😀 It is similar to a gloss or matte medium, which has binding properties. XXX Hope this helps
