From my full-length Brian May cover released last year, this is my attempt at Edward’s guitar solo performance, isolated from the full track. Minus one punch (a particular phrasing quirk which I still feel that I never really quite got “right”), this was otherwise a one-take performance, having seared that solo into my memory some years ago. Here, I also panned the guitar hard left and the reverb hard right, a nod to the very first Van Halen album.
