Meta knight actully almost got banned, as they made a pole deciding wheter or not to ban meta knight and most pepole wanted to ban him, however a japanese player after winning a tournament said that he wouldn't travel to other countries to play brawl if meta knight was banned, so to keep japanese players into the community, they decided to not ban meta knight

From your channel description and what was discussed in this video, I can see you are casual player when it comes to competitive. You say it's not ideal for an aerial to be a character's best approach option when in general that's been the case for a lot of characters throughout the series. Marth uses fair in neutral a lot, Peach is all about using float for her aerials, MK uses fair a lot, Kirby uses bair to approach. DK can use forward tilt as approach option to space certain characters out and can even beat out MK's mach tornado. You also didn't talk about how DK is susceptible to chain grabs, with having a unwinnable MU against DDD. You didn't talk about how he has hrab release combos on certain characters. He has tools to deal with Olimar and he also does well against Marth. I wouldn't say he is the best ledge guarder but he is decent.

Bowser and Dk should *not* be that high, also Wolf should be like 0 or -1 because of how busted it is

I also like Super Smash Bros. Brawl and playing as Donkey Kong a lot! And as King K. Rool in Smash Ultimate of course.

I will never understand the thought process behind DK's dash attack... He didn't get his iconic roll until _Smash 4_ and that's baffling to me.

Donkey kong's dash attack would be worth it if it was at least a kill move, but against jiglypuff, in the middle of final destination, it dosen't even kill at 500%, and jiglypuff is by far the lightest character in the game

Why isl luigi so high?!?!?!!? This move at low % dosen't even have enough hitstun to connect into the other hits, and if we take that aside, it dosen't travel that far givving the move short range, has a lot of lag, deals 8% maximum which is rather low, and never kills. Sure, it comes out fast but that's it

31:57 ok, while his waft does kill him when to close from the top blastzone, that also means you can use it as a recovery move, while yes, you do waste a kill move to recover, but hey, it's better than dying, and since his up special goes pretty much nowhere, you will be forced to use it to recover from time to time

How is Luigi's the worst with decent frame data and kill power while ZSS, who's forward smash is legitimately awful, 10 places above? strange choice. and Bowser's is insanely slow and telepgraphed, Zelda's is prone to dropping due to SDI etc...

i think brawl is over hated, i still play it maining Pit and marth, i guess ice climbers handoofs metaknight and tripping is why people haate it
