Heroscapes fanbase kept the game alive even before the advent of 3D pronters so if the community is there the game will live on and may even get a second chance like heroscape has.

I got into legion in 2019 with my son and we played till 2024, but got tired of the slow updates. We currently love Conquest the Last Argument of Kings and we are getting into bolt action v3.

Spinning the paint does not help as the name is only in clear view for a few seconds. Better to spin the minis and keep the paint static.

They could add a Sequel Trilogy expansion for Star Wars Legion. That might not happen, because 1. The good guy faction, the Resistance is just a weaker version of the Rebel Alliance and there's very little soldiers in the Resistance, and 2. People are not fans of the Sequel Trilogy...

Star Wars Shatterpoint is picking up a lot of steam and more and more people are playing. It’s fun, fast and has a lot of expansions

Bro , thank you for your video , as always masterpiece for soul . I personally switched to DND onslaught. The game is not that popular ,but it’s very fun to play and has painted miniature series which saves my time , since I’m not that good at painting but have plenty of minis .

Build and paint for fun. Thinking this way, I always keep going until it is a little like work. Then do something else and come back after a week or so, begin again

I know this is a hyper specific question, but when I first got into the hobby they offered dutch language versions of the starter sets (eiland van bloed, mijnen van moria, aanval op blackreach) But I am curious if battle for skullpass also came in dutch, I know that when I bought my first ever box they were selling that set but I was very young and wouldnt get propper into the hobby until a little later when island of blood was released

Bolt Action is amazing. Have been playing second edition a lot but am waiting on 3rd. Another recommendation is Trench Crusade ;) Am in love with that setting.

Looked into it a while back and Bolt Action sounds like a lot of fun. Someday though, it's hard to find the time to invest into everything I seem to like. xD However, will look into Trench Crusade, looks really interesting. :)

I don't understand the thing about GW resetting Underworlds. Why can't people just play with their old stuff if they want to? Are they worried the police are going to come?

I've been hearing and seeing that complaint in my 40k circles a lot: it's just gotten to be too much; like GW thrives on ignorance of the TT and curiosity of the IP. Tbf most of it started in 2016 with the absolute destruction of an entire TT game, WHFB. And it's mostly been all down hill from there. As someone who's been playing Warhammer since '93, it has become very clearly corporatized. Instead of vying to be a great TT game for collectors and players, it has chosen FOMO marketing with an overbloated roster/rule set, and the goal of just selling more toys no matter what. It feels like its lost a lot of its former luster. Kill Team kinda pulled it back a smidge, until GW elected to start FOMO again and begun getting rid of entire Kill Teams and even warning that they'll continue to do it! It just shows that they dgaf about the loyal fans, they want the new naïve fans who haven't caught on yet. SMH. The Old World looks promising, but I know the moment GW catches wind that it's gaining popularity, the first thing they'll do is change rules and nerf/buff/delete armies, to force you to buy more books and models at ridiculous prices. Trench Crusade looking pretty good, especially since they're doing what GW should've done a decade ago, sell stl files for 3d printers.
