I'm Tired of "Good" Graphics.
มุมมอง 4.4K3 หลายเดือนก่อน
60 FPS of pure a This video discusses complaints about gaming companies focusing on modern-day graphics at the expense of gameplay. Games take forever to make and look absolutely incredible but end up being generic and formulaic. Games shouldn't focus solely on graphics but on gameplay, and graphics always seem to age poorly, creating a cycle of remasters. One of the solutions to fix this while...

Are You Really Buying Video Games For This?
มุมมอง 9K6 หลายเดือนก่อน
Please don't show this video to my parents. This video is a funny take on how people are choosing to purchase video games for 'assets' rather than gameplay - and avoid buying games because some characters don't look as appealing in comparison. I talk about how gamers are obsessed with game characters looking a certain way, and how the East vs West debate is completely superficial - the point in...
What if Insomniac Made a AAA Ben 10 Game?

Please get this video to Insomniac thx This video tries to imagine what a possible modern day AAA Ben 10 game would look like. The video goes into why a Ben 10 game would be feasible in the first place, with a supportive fanbase, a badass protagonist and engaging plot points. I talk about how Sucker Punch and Rocksteady could approach the idea - but ultimately handing over the baton to Insomnia...

Are Console Exclusives a Problem?

Sony Pony sounds like something I would've named a horse in 3rd Grade. This video talks about the console wars and console exclusives. Are console exclusives still relevant? How to Absolutely CRUSH Your Gaming Backlog
There's nothing boring about the thumbnail titles. Maybe for simple COD players. Multiplayer fanatics can't have fun for any sustainable amount of time.
BLOODBORNE PCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC
Bruh is still thinking we're living in the good old days with E3
Console exclusives aren't the issue, it's unnecessary exclusives that hurt the industry, you're telling me honestly bloodborne couldn't have been ported to xbox or pc? They easily couldve done it and bloodborne would've easily sold twice as many copies, but sony payed from soft to have it be a ps exclusive, which hurts them as a studio in the long term because of the sole fact they can't sell their game to anyone who doesn't have a PlayStation. However, games like Wii sports, make sense as a console exclusive because it makes use of the wiis specific form factor and features. People who say it creates competition aren't getting it, if there were no unnecessary console exclusives, it would encourage console manufacturers to put out better hardware at more competitive prices. Let's say, for example, halo came out for PlayStation and xbox, the consumer isn't forced to choose xbox, they can then choose whichever console has better specs, better pricing, percs, features etc, which will encourage console manufacturers to outdo eachother on those things as opposed to who can buy out the most studios. And it'd mean the console manufacturers would be encouraged to innovate more to encourage devs to make exclusives that utilise their consoles unique features.

Ghost of tsushima on thumbnail? That game is amazing
not really, it’s as repetive and bland as the next open world game. It SHOULD be on the thumbnail.
Once the game is release, it should be no more remake, remaster, part 2, 3, whatever.
Witcher 3 is an open world done right. Good writing, quality narrative driven side quests and a beautiful open world worth exploring. If the world feels lived in and bustling with story and lore and activity, then that's a good game.
Quality over quantity any day of the week.
Completely disagree that ghost of tsushima would benefit from open zone sorry man
Honestly, I feel that older or even less successful AAA games have no value six months after release. We have to invest a lot of our lives into them, and we need to spend a substantial amount of money, which could otherwise go towards real, useful items. Single-player games still have some value, as long as you can find someone willing to invest their time and money. But multiplayer games with a low player count are essentially worthless. It’s sad to say, but it’s true-games aren’t really worth real cash. In my opinion, there should be an option to play for free with real-time ads, for example, during match load screens or on in-game billboards. And then there’s the pricing of AAA games in some countries, which is just a joke at the expense of people and their wallets. Sadly, around 80% of these games turn out to be mediocre, with no one touching them two months after launch.
Additionally, what kills the sense of gameplay is the trend toward open-world design. Nobody makes straight-to-the-point, tight, A-to-B games anymore, with a solid story and message. Now we get open worlds flooded with pointless quests, leading people to quit after experiencing only 20-30% of what the game has to offer. Sometimes, it’s better to create a straightforward, focused story with some freedom of choice than yet another generic open world with useless quests that just waste our time.
1:06 which game?

4:47 did not age well at all (referring to insomniac btw)
Listen, I main Link in smash, I can do every Windbomb variant, and advanced combat in BOTW. It has a repetitive issue as well and Tears turns it up to over 9000. It's so bad I never beat TotK.
Play games more suited to your needs. Big open worlds can be exhausting at times. Also, no microtransaction crap.
Playing Assassin's Creed Origins right now, I'm having fun.
Calling ripjaw "forbidden headgame" got me wheezin💀
Before I even watch the video, I just have to say. That sounds like a skill issue as someone who grinded ghost of Tsushima
My bad, I just heard the first line, I agree
Boy Starfield really bombed this one lol
Instant like for mentioning "Kingkiller Chronicles".
I started playing Ghost of Tsushima recently, I realised amount of activities, side quests, collectibles etc in first map region area felt like entire Sekiro game including side quests. So I took a break, gonna continue some day.😅💯
well thanks I will start with stardew valley perfection run And dead cells all bosses on 5 cells difficulty that will be some tough balls there wish me luck
I don't see anything wrong with a pre-order when you're buying something you know you'll buy, provided they have a good refund policy such a games being sold on Steam.
8:23 what game ?
Monster hunter rise
4:19 Wingardium Leviohsaah aah. made me laugh out loud 😂😂
Never understood why there is no good content for Ben 10 anymore whether it would be a great new animation show or a freaking awesome game. Ben 10 fans are out there because the idea behind this whole series is awesome. Hope it will happen at some point.
Open world games are like sex - its never as good as you imagined it to be, and its a lot of repetition involved lol.
That haiku was amazing man.
44 and kidney transplant and other health issues. My main issue when it comes to computer games is memory. I play a game for 3 or 4 hours in same day then go back to it and think. What happened or what did i do last time then re start and do same thing over and over again. I dont have this issue with tv series or films it just games. I have bad OCD when it comes to games especially RPG open world when there are choices. Again play for 3 hours and think i want to start it this way now and re start lol.
You're actually really sleeping on omniverse
1:36 nah rewind man. Omniverse disrespect is insane! Its way better than Af
Who got the list of games shown in the video?
As someone who has 100% the base game of Ghost of Tsushima on PS4 and PC, the non quest open world content needs to be slashed in half at minimum
I love elden ring
They ruin a great character for f sake omniverse childish and reboot just kill the hype for fans ben 10 orginal alien force and ultimate alien force are legit good both art style and as a series has quality for f sake ben in omniverse runs circle like old series bugs bunny do bruh such a trash omniverse and reboot is.. creator of ben 10 are fn idiots 😂😂😂 they ruin a great story with their reboot cartoon its childish nickeledon cartoons reboot and omniverse is 😂😂
barelyfanatical I 100 percent AGREE with you, open world games are terrible because the concept of PROGRESSION is non existent, and you never know where to go or what to do in order to progess forward in the game!
What works for me: 1 - Buy new games thoughtfully. It really IS tempting to buy a game when there's a hot bargain but you have to remember - if it's for that price now - it'll be for that price (or even lower) later. It's good for both your time AND money. Unless you really want to buy a game and excited about it. Like, I personally am waiting for Doom Dark Ages. I know I'll buy it day one and finish it in a few weeks, so that purchase is justifiable. But if it's the game I'm interested in but not looking forward to play - I'll buy it later. That's especially good for you because sometimes that game may be added to a subscription, or given away on Epic Games or gifted by close people. Or the game might be rereleased to modern consoles or with more content (like how it often happens with Atlus games). I remember almost buying Marvel's Midnight Suns on a sale but I decided to leave it for later and guess what? It was given to everyone in EGS for free. 2 - Don't start too many games at once. Obviously, if you start, like, ten games at once it'll overwhelm you to the point you wouldn't want to game at all. Choose a quantity of games you're okay with (for me it's 2-3 games) and play them gradually. Preferably, you should keep the genres of those games as diverse as possible. Playing three JRPG games at the same time will exhaust you. BUT, if it's JRPG, an FPS shooter and a platformer game - you're most likely to stay engaged with those games for much longer. It's also a good way to filter games that are just not your thing. If after approximately 20% of the game you still don't feel that you enjoy it - shelve it and start something different. However, I could make an argument that sometimes games pick up your interest not from the start but sometimes much later into the game or maybe even by its end. It's happened to me at least a few times, when I couldn't stand playing some game but as I get invested in it, I start to have an absolute BLAST with it. But it can easily be the other way around, when the game just doesn't get good (fot you) till the credits. All I can say - be conscious of your decisions and choose whether to keep or drop the game depending on your feelings right now. 3 - Play more smaller games. Nowadays game developers tend to aim that 30-50+ hours for an average completionist time and it may really just tire us out, so it's simply refreshing to play something short and sweet. Look at your collection, download that 5 hour indie and beat it in a few evenings. You'll feel refreshed and satisfied that you actually managed to finish something lately. 4 - At last, remember - it's okay to put a controller away. Look, I'm a proud full time gamer. It's an essential part of my life and personality and my love for videogames is infinite. But even then, it's okay to feel not like playing videogames. It's okay to get distracted by other hobbies or activities. It's okay to simply take it easy and enjoy a moment. And of course it's okay to pay attention to your problems and struggles that need to be addressed. Your backlog isn't a race and on top of that, there are thousands games worth playing and the life is just too short to fear to miss out. Gaming isn't a job (for most of you), gaming is something you do to enjoy and you should know that you can't force yourself to enjoy something if you don't want to. You can always come back to your backlog later. Heck, YOU should appreciate the fact that there are SO MANY good games out there, that you can basically play them till your 90s and not get bored. That's about it. I hope it was helpful to whoever read that.
