The Latinamerican Series was a fun experiment a few years ago. At one point an Argentinian team participated.
Panamá, Nicaragua, Colombia, México (Liga Veracruzana), Curazao, Argentina all participated. It was actually the invitation to Serie del Caribe that halted this tournament.
As for Japan participating in the caribbean series. I think they are pursuing to expose the Caribbean Series to the 2nd biggest Baseball market in the world. I think is a low risk move TBH. Nothing to lose, a ton of potential gains.

Okay okay hear me out: instead of Bahamas and Virgin Islands as individual nation teams, let's have them join forces under the guise of "compensating power discrepacies" into a West Indies all-star team? That should be interesting since we already have West Indies as a confederated team in cricket, and the Netherlands in the WBC, no less.

Can you tell us about the possibility of NPB adapting MLB like minor leagues system by merging different independent leagues
I know MiLB has some disadvantages, like delayed time in which the player is called to the majors and the possibility of losing a key player for the minor team to the major one in the middle of the season
But I want to see this system in japan because the talent pool in japan is huge it will make opportunities for players to show their skills and I also want to see a single professional baseball system covering all japan but I know doing that in NPB will water the league so I want to see it the minors

What about a giant annual tournament with all the champions of all the major leagues around the world. It would be one huge, epic tournament, and we could get an accurate representation of the relative skill levels of each league. It would be very similar to European soccer. The only issue is that maybe the imbalances would be too great. If you have the LA dodgers play against some random team from Nicaragua, maybe it would be too big of a gap in skill, although it would still be fun and interesting to watch on both sides, both as a dodgers fan, and as a Nicaragua fan.

They should get more US even Canadian teams involved. Say take a champion from winter ball leagues. That would get more Norte Americanos to care. Right now no one even knows about it. I live in Mexico and its a meh type of thing in Mexico, which goes bonkers when MLB plays down here.

Personally I feel baseball would do great in Africa. Since Africans are very community based societies, have large spands of land for playing, and no engrained sports in their culture unlike Europe or Asia
