My French door Samsung has flexzone compartment. Is it connected to freezer or fridge refrigerant circuit? How to remove refrigerant from fridge side? My evaporator has a leak. Is anything special you need to do about? Thank you.

Replaced door lock and took off gasket and cleaned it and now door won't shut all the way. The door lock does not catch and hold the door. I put the hinge back on and it did not line up perfectly but I guide the door to the door lock and it wont hold it even thought it's brand new. What do you think.?

The door boot seal on mine is clean and undamaged but water leaks past the lip at the bottom, like it's not sealing against the door glass at the bottom. If I push on the door to make a tighter seal, it stops leaking. I don't want to pay money for another boot that might not solve the problem.

I just received a call from Samsung saying that my fridge has a wiring issue so it is unfixable, it is less than 5 years old and I have had that issue for 3 years. They are not going to replace it, luckily I bought an extended warranty. So tomorrow I will find out if I get a new fridge, my previous fridge lasted 34 years. And the Samsung issue was the ice maker.

Back in 2015 bought Samsung french door model RF261BEAESP(no in-door dispenser; ice and water inside) Had Kenmore side by side before with door dispensers, so really thought I would enjoy the wider frig area and opening one side at a time, however deli drawer which I used often requires both doors open. First thing that went out was ice maker within 18 months, constantly froze up to point of mechanism not moving. I turned off and went old school ice trays and enjoyed larger cubes. After about 5 years, constant water issues in bottom of frig from iced over drain line. Now freezer completely stopped and frig area went out about a week later, so around 9 year mark. I will NEVER by another Samsung frig. They need to stick to TVs and phones! I'm looking for side by side with no water or ice dispenser or ice maker. Not wanting to rush into another bad decision, I got a cheap spare GE top mount 17.5 cf, and the storage on that frig in refrigerator compartment seems very roomy and only having to open one door to acces frig is easier for me. It is proving difficult to find stainless side by side with no in door dispensers and no ice maker, all on back order. People are so tired of ice maker issues, buying expensive filters, and cleaning mold on in-door water and ice dispensers on outside of friges that also take up too much freezer space. Thanks for giving us such good practical content. You are helping a lot of people.

Hi, I'm having a problem with my lg front load washing machine not draining, I've done all the diagnosis, kinky hose, filter check, and even removed the pump and tested it and it's perfectly working. I'm now stuck as I have done all the troubleshooting regarding non drainage.

I was noticing chunks of plastic in my drinks for a while. Today my ice maker quit dispensing ice. I took the ice bin out and this is the back with chunks missing. They want me to pay $100 for a new bucket. They ought to be glad I didn’t choke too death on a chunk of this broken bucket.

I own a Samsung RF23HCEDBSR, brand new and 3 yrs old, notice water pooling under the pantry crisper. Also have significant ice build up in ice tray maker, and the ice is always poor quality and freezer burned. Thanks for the heads up and I will attempt self repair with Amazon parts and your videos. We are in Southern Ontario and indoor humidity isn't an issue so clearly the fridge design is poor. Owned 2 Sears fridges prior and no problems ever over 40 yrs, replaced to upgrade. Buyer Beware. i got problem with mine. It will go to the rince cycle and it won't drain, it just buzzes. I can't find the filter on it apart from the middle on the inside. (top loader) is there anything i can do to unclog it or is the moter just done for?

Awesome explanation!!! I own a duplex therefore I have 2 Samsung fridges. Tenants have a French Door with water and deli draw. Its fridge area only cools to 47degree F and the ice maker doesn’t work bought it 11/2018. The freezer on bottom defrosts and refreezes evidenced by fused ice bags placed in freezer. There was been ice dripping inside fridge for so long that we measured 5 ups of water inside the deli drawer and spilled into the bottom of the fridge area. I made tenant vacuum back of fridge and take photos of thermometer for diagnostic evidence. I purchased food grade silicone and WILL seal ice-maker perimeter around the walls to prevent warm air entering the ice-maker, after I try it on my ice-maker on my Flexzone Samsung Fridge. Pretty looking appliances but lots of trouble with fridge cooling and ice-maker. Any comments are appreciated.

my LG WM2301HS washer made a grinding noise during the wash cycle when changing the tumbling direction during the load. it has just stopped working completely...full of water. no more button lighting. stator? I don't think it's the pump. there is no noise if I turn the drum by hand. do you have any idea?

How do we locate the right aftermarket parts? The Amana website doesn't even have my model number listed on their site anymore. AI suggests taking off some digits from the end of the model number but that shows me standard refrigerators (on the bottom) or side by side models. I thought similar numbers would yield similar models but they don't. Mine is refrigerator on the top.

A have a Samsung RF267AERS // I always clean the condenser twice a year, Although is has worked for 12 Years it suddenly stop working for a day or so, and then out of the blue start working as is should, after looking what's out there regarding common problems it seems to me after I check the temperature sensors; Two in the freezer Ice built up detection and compartment temperature, and Two in the fridge same thing, one outside by the door hinge and they are all in range 4.7 to 5.20 K Ohms at about 25 to 34 Celsius, now left to test is the signal for each back to the main board, I also check magnetic door sensors with a magnet, but while I was doing this I notice that the 3 speed inverter compressor works at the high RPM only because when is on you can fell it by the door handle. Now I'm narrowing the problem back to an erratic inverter card or main board com cable not sending the on signal to the inverter card on the corresponding speed or the inverter card unable to obey the speed command for low and medium speed, Any Ideas?. The Compressor is BK190C-L2C, all windings measure about 9.2 Ohms when cold no grounded winding.

What is it when dryer is loud noise making like it is going to take off and the drum moves around a lot.

So LG says "no more problems with lost items in the washer"....yet letting them go to the motor to cost you $300-$600 for a broken motor!

Sorry for the crazy long question.....Anyone, who has any idea about mine? The seal is not ripped in any way. Mine is the LG WM8100HVA 5.2 cubic ft mega capacity. For mega capacity it is struggling with large-ish loads. Like bathmats and towels. I never overload it. (At least nothing I feel uncomfortable with). It leaks from the bottom of the door seal. Maybe a few tbsp. (20-30ml) Door seal is not ripped, I clean off the dog hair if I see it. The visible spring on bottom of the seal looks tight. I can put a piece of paper between the seals when it's closed. BUT the leak seems to be coming right under the inner seal on the body. Right under the visible spring.I can see water streaks on the machine when the door is open.

My washing machine works fine but the water in the bottom smells like rotten eggs when I drain the bottom. Even after just a couple days and makes my laundry room stink. Also, it makes my clothes smell musty.

8-9 year old LG Washer Inverter Direct Drive. Washer making constant motor sound as soon as you turn the power on. And after the wash cycle it gets stuck with the error code "IE" or "1E". Do you think it is the drain pump?

Great video I was told my Bosch doesn’t drain properly because it’s connected to cold water line however that’s what the installer did saying Bosch require cold water? Does it need to be connected to hot water instead of cold?

For home appliances I have specific known brands for specific appliances i.e. LG for fridge, Ramtons for Microwave/Blenders/ironboxes/sandwich makers/toasters, Philips for blenders/iron boxes, Sony for TVs,Music Systems & Home theatres. I have some of these that I've had for more than a decade with no maintenance- now I just wanna upgrade to newer models... FYI: I live in an East African Country so vacuum cleaners, washing machines,dishwashers aren't common in most families- I would rather research further on more reliable brands that i can have for more than 5 years with no or min maintenance...
