So in order to locate the label with the model number of the fridge please open the door of the fridge compartment. look either on the left-hand side wall or right-hand sidewall.
You should see the sticker with the fridge model number on one of those walls.
In some rare cases, the label with the fridge model number can be located inside the freezer compartment.

Hey there! I'm trying to figure out the year a fridge was made, but it's a bit tricky with all the different models out there. Even the salespeople at the appliance store couldn't tell us the age of the fridge they're selling. Any ideas on how we can find out its manufacturing year?

Hi Angeli, sometimes the year and month is simply printed on the label. If not the manufacturer usually has the year the unit was produced in the serial number of the unit. So take a photo of the label and then google something like "x fridge [make of the fridge] serial number decoding". You should be able to find the resources
It's not there. It's not in the back of the unit either.
