POV Driving a LOUD 700 Horsepower Skyline GTR R32 on the Street
So you're in the market for a Nissan Skyline GTR, perhaps an R32 and you're wondering, how much power should I aim for? How fast is that going to be or feel? What is a car like that going to sound like? Well in this episode we're going to answer all those questions and more by looking at Sal's 700 horsepower GTR R32 Build. This epic build truly got the HDWerks, with parts from the usual suspects like Platinum Racing Products, 6 Boost, Radium, Frenchies Performance, Xona Turbo, Turbosmart, Tomei, and much more. We open with a supercut of our fabrication work to get the Haltech suite installed with the Keypad and iC7 Dash, all essential for what this GTR was meant to accomplish. Being an absolute terror on the street, scaring the daylights out of anything running on RWD, all the way to 50/50 at the push of a button. Dude, I love GTRs but this video is crap. You title a video 'how to buy the RIGHT WAY', then go into your mods and driving experience.. Other than briefly mentioning you purchased through a private sale from Japan you don't get into the buying/import process at all when this is what I would have expected the majority of the video to be focused on.

It's cool to see you're still replying to comments on this. I was wondering what insurance you use? I've heard a lot of people use hagerty for imports, but I'd really like to have everything I own insured under the same policy (progressive) just because it makes things easier and cheaper.

Anything OVER 400-450whp on ANY EVO on PUMP GAS is gonna be a pain in the ass to drive as a street car. If you want a fun street evo stay under 400whp and foucs on response and handling and you will really enjoy a Evo.
Switch to go between high and low boost or similar is the way to go
really nice build makes a really nice race car but as a street car I bet you that turbo lag really sucks and that can’t be fun to drive in the street. Its as useful as carrying a rocket launcher for an everyday carry weapon instead of a handgun. if you think this is a friendly street car setup then your perception on what a streetcar is and what a race car is is totally backwards

No work to the crank drive for oil pump?
Not yet! Obviously ideal and we all know the downfalls. Has an n1 oil pump with billet gears and plate. Would have to tear it all down at that point to do the collar.

Nice attention to detail. Never understood why people overlook getting wheel center caps. Everyone spends the money on rays or work but forget the caps.

Facts it's ugly in my opinion without caps.
It’s because the center caps don’t fit most of the new ray’s wheels, especially all the superlap versions
What are your thoughts on running a 285/35/18 on a rim of the same size…? I’m referb-ing my LMGT2 to 18x10.5 +15 and was curious as to the fitment on the 285. Would there be enough clearance with the tire so I don’t have to roll fenders? Great channel… loved the work on the silver 33.
285 should work on a 10.515. Little beefy but depending on your height should work fine.

What some people don’t realise is that GTR’s actually benefit from being modified. As stock cars they can be unwieldy. The HICAS system delete is a must to improve handling & if you have a 5 speed you simply must swap it for a 6 speed. The car really comes alive from this.
