Hello from Sweden! About BMW DCT. With the right controller you can retain the cluch pedal, for standing starts. And for the sake of driver engagement you could build a sequetal style shifter with mecanical feel to it although its actually only a switch. There is a Norwegian company called HPR-Tuning that makes a kit to make a BMW DCT fit Skylines, retaining 4wd. This is anyway what i plan for my Skyline when i start blowing transmissions.
Amazing information. Thank you. That’s the one I was looking at. And they suggest a nice controller. Didn’t know there was standing start normal clutch activation. That may make the difference. Keep the car in boost thru The gears. Will do more homework! Thanks for watching!! Share share
@@hdwerks would u run the same turbo setup on a 2.8 with just a bigger rear housing? im going to change from twins to a single, and some have advised me to go g35-900 1.01 on a 2.8 instead of the 0.83, any feedback or advice? thanks
@@xxxclusv what’s your power goal? You can definitely squeeze a little more top end out of a 1.0 but you’ll loose a little down low. Just ask yourself what your goals are really. Fun street car. Instant boost or you’re willing to sacrifice some low end for a bit more top end pull. If you’re 90% hooning around on the street I’d stay smaller. If you can manipulate the boost curve with some antilag / cam gears / timing you can gain some spool back also. Totally your call. Both will be fun. Either way. Thanks for watching!
yeah love ur channel, and thanks, ill keep that in mind! and yes power goal would be 500-600whp on pump fuel. something responsive. So perhaps the smaller rear housing like a 0.83... and yes i'll have cam gears, cam shafts, full headwork with all supertech but kept std size valves. plus im thinking t4 divided manifold as well @@hdwerks
I like the cruisecast idea - cool way to connect these cars with the owner's personality.
Sick car, José.
