The brushed version comes factory with a 1/10 motor which is a 550 12t and the brushless motor that comes factory in that same car if you got the brushless version is a 380 size. For mine since how I got the brushed version I just bought a 1/10 brushless motor kit and everything fit without having to buy extra parts. Something they don’t really tell you...just FYI for anyone wondering

So if I take my vxl system out of my stampede and put it into the 1/16 slash or e revo it will fit❓

Probably the 1/10 velinion is too much for the mini erevo plus the esc won't fit

The ebay listing for this combo states it will fit a brushed setup but they fail to mention the mount.

I just converted my slash mini to a velineon system. If you have a dremmel you can bore your own holes into the motor mount an save yourself a few quid. Works perfect!

My mount worked fine for the conversion but the gear cover doesn't fit the new motor. The correct plate fixes that.

Thanks for the video. I´m planning to upgrade mine after the brushed motor setup quitted its service. Will order the required parts at once. Did you have to change the pinion gear also? Also what are the batteries you are running now? 2s or 3s or the original ones? What size 2s and 3s goes into the battery tray?

I think I saw the blue ano skid plates on your merv. I know a lot of people like them, particularly the front to keep the dif bulkhead together. What, if anything did you do about the hinge pins sliding? I found they moved a lot because the aluminum ones don't have the little cups to receive the ends of the hinge pins and retard their movement.

It is hard of the gears to move them manually and can snap the teeth. The teeth in those motors (hopefully metal geared) are very tiny and snap easily. If you dont have a metal geared steering servo I highly recommend it
