This channel is about technical 3D printing and self-developed 3D printed machines of all kinds.
In real life, I'm a packaging machinery engineer with a full-time job. But in my freetime I design, engineer and build all kinds of things that cross my mind. I've been developing things forever and it's a lot of fun. Unfortunately my time is very limited. That's why it always takes a little longer until new content is uploaded to youtube. I try to describe my developments as good as possible in my videos. For me it is very important that things remain simple and can be copied by others.
I try to link all purchased parts to make rebuilding as easy as possible.
I put a lot of work and brainpower and time into my projects. I hope that this will pay off one day.
With "likes" and "subscribe" you can support me and bring my goal a little closer.

3D printed Label Dispenser | DIY Friction Feeder | download all Files
This 3D printed machine called Friction Feeder solves a problem that many people have already tried. With the right technology, however, it is relatively easy to separate a stack of paper or labels. The use of my 3D printed friction feeder is very versatile. The feeder can be used in everything from semi-automatic labeling machines to automated production lines. The separation of the sheets works amazingly well. Sheets up to A5 size can be inserted (maximum width = 150mm).

3D printed Sphere machine
มุมมอง 125K3 หลายเดือนก่อน
Producing a perfectly shaped wooden sphere without machine assistance is almost impossible. Industrial sphere machines are extremely expensive and far too bulky for home use. For this reason, I designed, built and tested a 3D-printed ball machine. The machine is comparatively simple in design and should be able to be assembled by anyone who can hold a screwdriver. Wooden balls are not only aest...

How much to build me one complete like a version 2 more refined and everything covered in a completed shroud to cover all the vital moving parts that if bumped or accidentally have something dropped on it would ruin calibration or break more precise and fragile fine tuned pieces u kno 500 750 1000 1500 2000k what's up
Hello, at the moment I am not planning to build a second version. However, I would like to make some improvements. You can download the current version here: cults3d.com/de/modell-3d/werkzeuge/3d-printed-stuffing-machine
Anychance u will be selling this machine or selling the full instructions with parts made that aren't 3d printed like the metal parts and the clear lexan or acrylic panels and the brass injector screws and the motors and options to purchase audrinos for extra or purchase myself
machine price plz

How to buy this machine?

Thank you for this genius design and your hard work to get it working!!
Perhaps in the future it can replace CNC and hand-made vibrating bowl feeders we used many feeders in our machines...
I think it will in the future. Making the bowls is extremely time-consuming. 3D printing is a very good option here. When metal 3D printing becomes cheaper, it will certainly be an alternative.

I have printed a few versions of 3d printed feeder bowls for my factory job, but never the base, very cool to see the effort you put into the design, and video editing.
My brother would love that lashing machine
Too slow.

You can make this machine
would this work for rocks with diamond abrasives
Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to test this. Unfortunately, I don't have any diamond grinding tools.
Maybe useful for laser lensing?
But then the lenses should be made of acrylic. 3D printed lenses have problems becoming accurate due to the layer structure.
how to print on A4 the paper model for the acrylic ?
2 A4 sheets and glue them together.
Love to buy one for home use
Genial!!
Why does it oscillate?
You can find all the information about it on my website: fraensengineering.com/magnetic-levitation/
Amazing as always!!
Excelent ! Like all your videos 👍🏻
Thank you very much ;-)
How did you solve the paper wrinkling and developing air pockets after applying it to the bottle? I remember seeing your thread about this topic
The problem has not yet been completely solved. The labels look better after drying. However, I still need to carry out a few more tests. I am in contact with a German adhesive manufacturer. Perhaps a solution will be found here.
@@FraensEngineering maybe you can use the same stuff what is used for the drying of classic paper Foto pictures (paper Foto Abzüge), as the have the same problem
What do you mean exactly?
Wow what a great project, congrats and thanks for sharing ...

Thank you for providing the STEP files in the Package, this is something that to many sellers form played models forgot.
I am very pleased that you like it. Have fun building the machine ;-)
With flat on the bed orientation of the lens my UVprinters makes pixel pattern inside lens 🤔(visible with microscope after polishing) So i don't think it's much of a lens, but a template for silicon mold and later molding from something more suitable.
I can well imagine that. I have not checked with a microscope. An experiment with acrylic glass would be interesting. What do you think?
@@FraensEngineering depending on uv resin you've used, acrylic may be even easier to gring and polish, so why not :)
How much would one of these cost to get printed/where would I go to get someone to print this for me?
Hello, unfortunately I can't print out the parts for you. However, there are very good online providers who can do this. I had the container printed here: jlc3dp.com/?from=Fraens
Nice project work and gread mindset that u have created new technique of motions for the co-insiding of all parts working with great construction and the concept too. making big parts into a smaller is good work and share ur next project details to know further projects that i can learn and it is helpful for introduction as well collection of information for me 👏👍
I'm glad you like it. It is my great passion to design and build machines.
What does it do? I don't really understand the concept.
It is a friction feeder. These are used in industry to separate stacked materials. For example labels.
Hi. Very great build, I love it! May I ask what did you use for the linear sliding mechanism in the friction roller?
It is a simple linear guide from Amazon.
Is the grinding tool just pressing the draft lens in the rubber, or does it also needs a special curvation to grind on the right points of the lens? Seems such a practical coincidence that they fit, while in optics everything is so complicated.
The basic principle of lens grinding is relatively simple. It's all about the undefined movement. take a look at how lenses are made in India ;-)

Und, war die nacht lang? Toller video!👍
Very very cool design! I had a stab at something similar, although with discontinuous feeding. You can find my writeup under "Paper Feeding" on my blog. Would love to hear your thoughts... My biggest struggle was getting the stripper wheel to apply consistent force. I like how you incorporated a small segment of linear rail to keep it in position. What made you decide to go that route?
Hello, I enjoyed reading your post. You describe the highs and lows of a mechanical engineer very well. Identifying and solving a problem is an extremely satisfying feeling. There are days when you want to throw everything away and days when you make progress. The idea is very well solved. Is there a video of the finished machine? I would be very interested. Unfortunately, some of the clips on your website don't work.
Hi, thank you for writing your blog I'm just a hobbyist but i've been reading it for the last 20 minutes and really enjoying it. I love automating tasks it feels like magic and the possibilities if you get good at it seem endless
You're the master of mashines😎
And you are the Master of FTB ;-)
I like your design. Congratulations. I'll try to made it. Thank you
Thank you very much. I think the machine could find many areas of application.
@@FraensEngineering I'll try to adapt to numbering machine. What's media formats you design this feeder?
It is designed for A5 sheets W=150mm. The length is not too exact.
Are you engineer for statec binder ?
Yes, I am a design engineer at Statec Binder. That's right ;-)
Beautiful work, as always. Makes me (a software engineer by trade) envious of you mechanical folks.
I've always missed the physical aspect of programming. That's why I prefer machines ;-)
For a couple hundred bucks you can get a serious CAD program and a decent 3d printer. It is super accessible compared to just 10 years ago!
Amazing. I'm speechless.
The amount of engineering it takes to build a simple printer that almost everyone has in their home is just amazes me my canon printer has a paper tray underneath it it can take papers from that tray with ease and the rolling mechanism inside of it can also somehow flip the papers to print on both sides im not actually amazed by the feeder mechanism itself but the fact that it can somehow flip the pages around is just idk it was an engineering orgasm
Printers were one of my inspirations for building this machine. Using the right technique, it is not difficult to separate sheets.
Looks good, but how reliable is the shuttle cock?
Lets go, this looks really useful
