Hi Ray! Wat grappig inderdaad! En ook supertoevallig dat je ook een X-Mid 2 wilt gaan bestellen haha. Ik kan het me nog goed herinneren dat ik de Naturehike tent bij je op kwam halen. Daar heb ik overigens ook nog een review van gemaakt :) . En wat gaaf zeg, de Cape Wrath Trail staat ook hoog op mijn lijstje! Ben benieuwd naar wat voor je hikes je nog op de planning hebt staan! Hi Lars, I slept in the huts (hütte) which are scattered all across the black forest. It's legal to sleep there for one night. You do have to search for them by hand on the map once you know which trail you are going to hike. Have fun!!

Thanks! Well it wasn't that difficult but the tricky part is getting away far enough from the trails and/or roads. The area is full of them so I would take that into consideration and always walk a little bit further before making up camp :)

Thank you, glad you liked it! Trail number 2 is definitely my favorite. It has the most beautiful paths and views, but it´s also a little harder due to the differences in terrain which I really like.

Hi! Yes you can! If you set up the frame first and connect it to the groundsheet you can throw your outer tent over and set it up. Then you can safely put up your inner tent and you won´t get wet if it´s raining or something like that.

Ah good question! Well, after a short while they do get wet. I wore them for a quick stroll through the park here yesterday and accidently stepped into a puddle... 5 seconds after I could feel the water slowly seeping into my socks. The upside is that they do tend to dry faster because of the breathability but yeah, they do get wet fast!

Thanks for you comment man! Yeah it was really stunning, despite the weather. Can't wait to see it when it's sunny or when it's snowing. It's a solid recommendation! With mountainbikes I don't think the trails are made for it, but there are some bikeparks in the area which I'll most definitely will check some day!

Thanks for your comment and yeah, you're totally right! But with everything I buy I'm like 'Can I go hike with these'? So yeah haha. I'm still using them with pleasure even though the movement tends to get a little more the longer I wear them.
