A 4k Dutch midsummer ambience sunset! Kick back and relax.

During midsummer (longest day of the year) I decided to film this stunning sundown over the lake at the Stoomgemaal near Nijkerk in the Netherlands. And wow, what a sunset it was…
Whether you are on your summer vacation 2023 or just virtually want to kick back and relax. This will get the vibe going! The burning sun in azure skies, slowly setting and transitioning into what was a warm and cozy summer night.
Expect calm and beautiful water, small sailing boats, wandering coots and swans floating by… all under the settling evening sun.
This is something that gets covered too little by Dutch youtube channels in my opinion. Even though the Netherlands is flat, we still get to enjoy lustrous sights of meadows, calm lakes and of course a variety of small(er) lakes. I’m really an outdoor fan, not only in the forests and mountains of Europe, but also in my own country. It’s not always about getting into the wild and hike for a couple of days. Sometimes it’s also very rewarding to just take a step back and appreciate what is (practically) in your own backyard!
