Yeah, I've read about Captain Stanley Lord of the British Steamer SS Californian. Titanic's distress rockets were reported to him at the time, but he did nothing and went back to sleep then he had to spend the rest of his life trying to explain. I mean he just ignored the Titanic when she was trying to signal for help. That is just cowardice in my eyes.

I have learned a lot about Sir Arthur Rostron. In the months and years following the Titanic disaster, Captain Arthur Rostron of the RMS Carpathia and his crew were given all manner of awards and accolades. Cabinets were even set up on Carpathia near the purser's office to house the various medals, cups, and mementos commemorating the ship's gallant role in the rescue of the survivors of the Titanic disaster. Also, years later King George V knighted Captain Arthur Rostron of the RMS Carpathia, for his leadership and courage in rescuing survivors of the Titanic. Rest in peace, Sir Arthur Rostron Amen 🙏✝

Stephen was born 1811, Anne, 1837, could they really be brother and sister, 20 odd years between them ? also, the young child died in 1842, as did his wife, Anne and she was born 1812. i can't think what relation Anne who was born 1837 was to S ? perhaps a daughter ? maybe his wife died in childbirth in 1842 and the child died a year later, which often happened in those days.

i lived in Surrey at the time of Millie's murder and then the police did not know he had killed more victims. Millie was dumped in some Woods near the Royal Horticultural shop and garden centre and gardens in Wisley. I had driven there to buy something and remember seeing the Woods taped over with police tape. i think this is why Millie had more attention, as at that time, it wasn't known that he had killed before Millie. RIP Marsha, her name was definitely news to me i thought Millie was the only one. thank you for sharing. I lived and worked in Kingston back in the 80's.

TH-cam recommended this to me, I’m just gonna go ahead and say it. People need to learn how to fight, no other way to put it, no sugarcoating it. Yeah you all will probably say you shouldn’t have to and I agree, but I don’t live in a fantasy world. The harsh truth is the world is not kind to those perceived as ‘different’ RIP Sophie.

I live a couple of miles away from Bacup( pronounced Baycup, and I remember listening with horror what happened to Sophie and Rob I am a heavy metal fan myself who has on occasion been persecuted for my music and how I dress but not in the horrific way Sophie and Robert were they were just a young couple on a night out and making thier way home met up with some people after stopping to get some cigarettes only to get attacked by some nasty bullies who didn't like thier appearance

I know about this case tragic so very sad .. the man who did this is evil .. rip angel.

The goth community as i knew it were always friendly and always up for fun but did keep themselves to them self's i loved the goth look all in black and silver bling i dressed like a goth .. but i was not one and in the early 90s i went clubbing it Edinburgh i remember getting stuck one night i had forgot my buss times and missed it i was terrified until a gang of goths going home spotted me crying they chatted to me asked me what was wrong .. they then said come back with us we are going to have a party so i went i was 18 .. a superb night in a old Victorian building away up by the children's hospital they looked after me gave me a bed and one of them walked me to the bus stop the next day lovely lovely people i met them a few times ..

These cowards will have to live with what they have done for the rest of their lives. Karma is real....
