LockMaster Moki Edition Jackknife: Blue Belt Locks
It's really hard to find quality white belt lock. The mushy feeling is kind of bad in these.
Interesting, p.lock. 👍✅️ Full control 😊
I'm carrying mine with a wave rake to go along with the rest of my edc
Omg! That thing is wild! Hard pass on the gutting! Thanks for finding this out so the rest of us don't have to! 😘😘
Good stuff as always, great information on general lotos and potential pitfalls. I have an absurd quantity of abus 74/40s, DM me if I can send you one
Great information!! I will pass on this one. 👍🐈⬛🐾🍻
Gross.... I will avoid those problems
WAIT WAIT! Let me guess! The lock is made in China? Right?
Thanks for the warning, I think I can safely avoid this one!
One of the best channels in locksport. When Georgia Jim speaks better listen. I struggle with dd locks. I watched a video you did ordered the same lock it was like a light came on. Instantly, I was much better. I’ve picked pin tumbler since 2007 but dd locks drove me crazy.
I got this lock based on your recommendation. So far I'm lost but seems like a fun lock to start my disc detainer journey.
He is cheating. The lock is tilted, pushing the ball bearings to one side of the lock.
@@krissfer5581 that’s not how the ball bearings work in this lock. Even if they could all be pushed or tilted to one side (they can’t because there is a sprung plate keeping pressure on them to stop that from happening) the bearings displace as each pin is lifted until an equilibrium that matches the key being in the lock is met. For the record, the designer of the lock thinks this is a legitimate pick but glad you know better than him. Thanks for watching.
Good vid bud! That's neat that there's a nice intro DD lock for you, US folks to get. And remember kids, use lube!
Nice and I probably need to get one from our local Lowe’s
@@mcdpoor if you want to learn disc detainer and get familiar with the internals I’d suggest them.
That's neat that there's a DD that's accessible to North America pickers locally and is guttable. Thanks for sharing.
@@Loose-Shirt6551 these are identical internally to the Unity sold by Amazon. The Unity just aren’t sold as individual locks and you have to buy a minimum two. Also buying in person at Lowes lets you check the bitting
Nicely done Jim! I've been trying to get a hold of this DD lock. Who sells these? Amazon US and Europe don't seem to have them. Update: Oh, it's from Lowes Home Improvement
@@wolfganggrojcig2528 yes, they’re at Lowes. They are identical internally to the Unity padlock if you can get that more easily.
Thanks for sharing this and the tips. I have never picked a disc detainer but its on the todo list. This makes me want to get one of these locks. I really like that you can gut it too.
@@knowthebird it’s a very straightforward lock and gutting and reassembly is very easy.
Great picking!!! Yes good beginner DD lock. Same disks as a Unity DD padlock. Also you can file false gates on some of the disks and fool your friends 😅 Well done!!👍🐾🐈⬛🍻
@@chriscapune7873 If I could have bought a single Unity I would have gone that route but didn’t want two keyed alike and that’s the smallest amount i can fine on Amazon.
Yes that is the problem with the Unity’s.
I had tried that once, a long time ago… the tolerances are so sloppy on the core that a false gate deep enough to be effective can also act as a true gate if you turn hard enough. 😬
😅🤣👍👏👏👏

Good tune 👌🤜🤛
Bro hit the jackpot congratulations 🎉
Raking while using a TOK tensioner is kind of hard. I thought I was the only one struggling with that :) I'm glad Jimmy's picks work on the ABUS 72/40. Which also means it probably works great on Y1 keyways too, not just Master, LW5 and AM5.
Awesome!
Thanks for including the levels that any person could be. As a hobby, it has been fun, but professionally, some brands are very stubborn, so I think this will do well in my pocket.
