Nicely done! I picked a CL in this format but I imagine OEM Assa barrels are much more challenging. I do remember using a 015" pick but the CI probe for the low cuts was a great idea.
Nicely done Jim! I just got my Ruko 1200 from Yagias with the same keyway as the Assa D12. I really need some suggestions on how to deal with the keyway 😂 Nice explanation of these chiseled key pins and their role in that type of an Assa key plug. I asked myself why the Ruko 1200 and the 401 Merkur had these small saw cuts in the key? I guess you answered it.
GJ is awesome, the technique and knowledge shared here is hard to match, thanks for the content 👍
Lovely picking as always 😎

Did you get it picked? After you started I looked away for a second and suddenly you were gutting it. 😜 For real though, way to make it look easy!

You're on a streak!
Sint-Oedenrode push the fork pins back in position with the probe? Or just for the high pins ?
@@Pinekatze8814 the probe is the right height for the minimum lift pins, the hook was for the higher lift pins
how in the world do you figure out how to pick all these high level locks ? lol !
@@TheLockWhisperer lots of practice and time. Good practice and building fundamentals.
