Is a Captains or Masters license needed for a boat this big? I guess as long as it's personal use the answer is probably no, but curious?

I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS COUPLE BUT I'VE TRIED TO CONTACT THEM SEVERAL TIMES TO NO AVAIL, HOPEFULLY THEY DIDN'T RUN INTO AN ACCIDENT ON THEIR TRAVELS TO THE HOUSEBOAT & BACK. HE WAS ALWAYS VERY QUICK TO RESPOND BACK BUT SOME OF MY MESSAGES HAVE BEEN OVER A YEAR❤🙏❤️🙏

Typical storm in ga I think the weather man is in with the grocery store because they call for major winter storm of your lifetime and we get half inch and possibly nothing and my wife hates it

Lived and worked in Atlanta for two years from 2012 - 2014. Was one of the 2,000+ who got stranded on the roads duringI Icepocalypse 2014! I worked downtown in the SunTrust building and lived in Vinings, less than 10 miles away (lived in Kennesaw for a few months, first). Took me 22 hours to get home! Will never forget that OR all the fabulous times on Lake Lanier! One of my friends lived on the lake in Flowery Branch. Loved going to Fish Tales and Pig Tales for lunch or dinner via boat! Actually saw the international space station flyover at a gathering on E Dock one year. Georgia is a great place to live! 🍑

Ok dumb move on blocking the engine room vents. If it's a gas engine you MUST ensure any fumes can vent. Below the waterline the boat is ALWAYS above freezing.

This is a good learning video for me. I grew up sailing on Carlyle Lake in Eastern Illinois. Never did much water time without sales. However, we've been renting pontoon boats on Table Rock Lake in the Ozarks and this is a little bit like what you guys do but in microcosm. I think I could live on your boat all four seasons. My wife? No way. So I am houseboating vicariously through this channel. Keep of the good work.

I was like SNOWDAY!!!, then it’s said 6in with ice and I went dang it. Because where I live anything less the three feet or blizzard and I would still have to go out to do my daily things 😞 work😑

Cool the 21st adventurers have that same pioneer spirit that settled this wild country of the 17.00’s and 1800’s like them we retreat into the wilds a country of electric marvels that never existed then, but WE BRAVED THE WILD INTERNET FRONTIER and we have again won. Now looking back it seems that we really wanna fight for survival the reason for winter camping in the frigid cold of Georgia we can return to our summer playground and once again wether the elements because we ARE AMERICANS!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Cold air blowing through the vents brings in oxygen and fresh air…….so important to keep ventilated to reduce the risk of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning. …..The trend these days seems to be…..throw caution to the wind and put yourselves in possible danger. I am not a Troll …….just someone who fears something going wrong……all for the sake of .”You Tube” I wish you all the best…..please stay safe and try to minimise the risks.

Oh wow, a whole 6inches……6 inches is a Nusance storm…. In the future grocery run: eggs, milk, bread, tomato sauce, spaghetti, cheese, snacks, instant hot chocolate, coffee tea and yes, the all important toilet paper. If you can pick up a shovel and rock salt, do so. Charge all your devices and if you have a portable charging station, more the better, just in case you lose power. Good Luck and have fun!

Dory is beautiful! So glad she gets to have a good time living on your houseboat. You totally freaked me out at the end, though, when she was running after the squirrel off leash. That was really dangerous for her, and she's very lucky there were no cars around! God bless her and protect her always.❤

Nice! What about rats and bugs, though? Are they a problem due to being right on the water? My issue is that I have dogs, and although they're inside dogs, they need a yard to run around in a few times a day. Otherwise, a houseboat would be so cool! I love unique living situations.
