QUETA needs to get more minutes against quicker shifty teams. That is not Luke’s matchup, that’s why O’Shea was so helpful in the Indy series. I would’ve liked to see Springer considering he is a defensive specialist supposedly and we were getting cooked by guards and Siakam all night. I mean, we kept him over Lonnie, why is he just riding the pine? If we ever want him to get better, he needs to get reps plain and simple. Or if we want to get anything for him he needs to get and show that he can do something. How to solve the adversity: Stop letting themselves from getting blown out in points in the paint. Minimizing layup lines and offensive rebounds leads to them not giving up the lead.

Honestly, I feel like Tatum's jumpshot is the best improvement with this team. He's always been a good shooter, but that jumper always looked a bit janky. Improving it should to give himself more fluid movement and release should make him a noticeably more efficient scorer. The more efficient he is, the more doubles he draws. With his vastly (and I mean vastly) improved playmaking, this makes him one of the best players in the NBA. I'd argue a 30pt/5-10reb/5-10 assist player who plays defense is in the Top 5 easily. If not the Top 3. I struggle to name someone else who plays defense and can threaten a 30pt triple double every night.
