“That extra inch helps out a ton”
Yo pause 😂 💀
Bronny James was picked number 55 in the draft Anton Watson was picked number 54 in the draft! HIs IQ an basketball ability is way above bronny James both Celtic rookies are really going to shine! 😊🎆🙏
Anton was in college longer than Bronny.
The only reason bronny was drafted because of his dad tbh. I wouldn't use him as a measuring stick
@@CleanMusicLover229 Bronny fault
I’m a C’s fan so i’m biased but i’m very pleased with the debut!!!! i’m excited for the G league this year!!!
Hes like 4 years old
I watched some of Baylor‘s big east games the last two years and he’s a great passer and team player. Super high hoops IQ. He’s probably 6 foot 6 1/2 inches. Gritty and tough
And Baylor's shot looks like a left-handed Chris Mullin. VERY sweet, smooth-looking shot. It's early, but both Baylor and Watson look like keepers for Cs future.
After they shook off the nerves they both are really good
Good point about ball watching. My rule is when your defender looks away, don't be there when he looks back. As a defender you have to "See" with your hands.
cannnnnot be ball watching like that
Celtics drafted well this year .
i agree a lot of work to do though
@@MattydubsCeltics no doubt , by now I trust how they do things
What's crazy is Baylor's the rookie, but he controlled the tempo of the team. yes, he's 23-24. but he's still a ROOKIE. pretty sure he's getting minutes
At the beginning of the game I was laughing because I knew Sheirman just had to get the nerves out of the way wasn’t worried at all 😂
Yeah, he looked way better once he got comfortable, I mean like if that was my first taste of professional basketball I would be nevors too

Good to have you back man 👍
great to be back
I am a first time viewer and I love your commentary young man.💚☘️#19
This is actually a good channel, keep it up!
thank you! will keep grinding these videos
Both are the future of Celtics☘️💪💪
After some early bricks the rooks showed some high hoops IQ and skill. Thanks M-dubs.
I've liked Queta from the start, but I noticed him getting away with offensive fouls on two screens in this footage. He probably wouldn't get away with them during the regular season, and didn't last year.
A for Baylor, B+ for Anton. A+ for the analysis.
thank you!
Appreciate the analysis, Matt.
appreciate the comment my guy!
Baylor depends on offensive structure so he does seem frustrated by the dribble shoot over drive and kick out. Watson is demonstrating the ability and willingness to do the dirty work
Baylor amazing playmaker DAMN
yesssssir
This is offense part 1 we want defense part 2... Thanks
I'm really surprised you couldn't see Baylor's play making abilities, if you watch any of his college highlights it's pretty obvious he's a skilled passer and play maker. He brought the ball up the court a lot from what I saw.
i think i watched a scoring tape instead of a full film review big mistake from me😂
@@MattydubsCeltics all good bro, the main thing here is it looks like this kid could really fit in the Celtics lineup. Brad is once again earning that paycheck.
I think Baylor is one of those well-rounded players who are just athletic enough. He's Hauser with better playmaking skills. I was happy with his debut. Watson looked solid. These two kind of remind me of the Max Strus/Javonte Green combo from years back, but I think Baylor is better than Strus was at that time. I'm kind of down on Queta on defense. It looked like he was a half step slow on everything. But I liked him on the offensive side. I'm also not impressed with Jordan Walsh. I would think his offensive development would have gone further. It's only one game but I don't think he makes the 15 man roster. I think right now you go Jrue, PP, JB, White, Springer, JT, Hauser, Brisset, Baylor, KP, Al, Kornet, Tillman, Queta, and Watson on 2 way.
They're both going to have fine 2-3 year careers for the Maine Celtics.
Anton maybe/probably but no way is Baylor in the G league for more than a year, and that will be just for working on defense. You'd have to be blind to not see he's a legit NBA talent.
They look promising
I hope Walsh gets going. I have high hopes for him to be our Dennis Rodman.
break down Jared Mcains debut
I think springer went off and you should do a video on him
i think i will
B+
Jaden Springer looked awesome. Walsh's performance was really disappointing though.
hoping he gets through that G league he was really solid
Fantastic analysis as always!
One critique that may improve your videos: can you turn off the play/pause notification at the center of the screen? If not, I’d suggest a program that doesn’t have that feature. Having it pop up every single time you click the mouse is kind of annoying.
That said, I love your videos. Keep up the good work!
hmmm i’ll have to do some research on a program to use i’m not too sure i just use youtube
The rookies looked good team overall let go too many points almost beat the summer league high 120 points, defense was not looking good guys we definitely have to work on that.
Baylor B+ Antoine B
lol "the ball watching capabilities" lol.... that brother is either actin (fresh prince of belaire) or he hasn't played enough basketball to be in NBA summer league
B-
Bronny cannot play basketball. His basic fundamentals aren’t THERE!!!
break down the footage in the most boring way possible please. Oh wait
You talk too much 😂
Dude you talk way to much. Over analyze. 🍍
I watched Baylor get beaten on defense at least 4 times; slow-footed, lack of athleticism. Where are those highlights?
took hauser since time to get his defense up.
the hope is Baylor well improve with time
@@ricy802 He has to…or his Celtic’s career will be short. I wish that this media was somewhat objective. I’m a lifetime Celt’s fan, but these fantasy comments are almost embarrassing.
@@billnichols5381 couldn't agree more.
he def needs to get in gear on that end. if he still getting blown by in year 2-3 we Def have cause for concern.
He's knows he needs to work on his defense and that's the the first step, Admitting you have a problem 😅. Joking aside He'll get better.
His passing was pretty impressive.
We already the top defensive in the league. We drafted him to create space and hit open 3s.
