Queta is a legit 7 footer with some crazy natural talent. & hes sturdy af, not lanky like KP, so he brings durability. ive seen ppl say he’s slow, but honestly i dont see him egregiously out of position very often & while he’s not visibly explosive he has a deceptive way of making up a lot of ground both laterally & vertically that fools a lot of ppl. he cant shoot. that will keep him off the court in a lot of situations, but hes dangerous in the paint on both ends… has a little edge to him as well. C’s could use an enforcer. lol
Well now that we know everyone is back, I still think NQ will see some play time, I think he'd be a good 10-12 minute per game guy. His plusses are that he's a dominant rebounder, a very good rim protector, and a good scorer in the paint. His weaknesses are that he fouls too much as you said, he doesn't space the floor, and he's exploitable on defense by athletic wings. They signed him for 3 years for a reason though. If he continues to develop I think he could be a starting center in the NBA some day, or at the very least in a rotation. When KP comes back I don't think he's a rotation player, but while KP is out I think he is, I think Joe trusts Kornet and X more, so once KP comes back he's probably the odd man out. I do think he's got starter potential somewhere down the road though. And if he ever develops a 3 point shot, watch out.
I love Queta, and I think regular season he is gonna have a real chance to play some minutes. Reminds a lot of young, raw Rob Williams. That being said, I think it is too important for the Celtcis (at least in the post season) to be able to run a five-out offense. So unless Queta develops a 3-point shot I don't think he will play any meaningful post season minutes.
FIRST CENTER OFF THE BENCH PLEASE! JUST HIM TOUCHING THE BALL IN THE POST MAKES THE CELTICS DANGEROUS!
Neemias Queta need add his game footwork, floater & mid range
Both Tillman & Kornet got resigned shortly after this dropped but he should get some quality minutes and usage next season regardless!
7 foot dawg that fights for every possession, only downside is he can’t shoot yet and is still a little prone to fouls
...true but we have coach and this summer is going to be a long one. We have time.
We have shooters. We just need him to defend elite Bigs & rebound.
@@whatlurks_ And alter/block shots..

he can shoot
He played defence without fouling, takeng block shot and rebound
He’s a baller
Not only did we struck gold! He's a diamond in the rough
Tilman is going to have a great game next season bc he can switch and can shoot
Tilman isnt a shooter at all, he definetly shoots more than a guy like Queta but 28% isnt threatning at all
he can't shoot for his life hes 26% in his career

I have been misspelling his name Nemis I really hope he breaks out next season.
Tillman and Kornet are both back, yet I beleive Nemias has the highest ceiling of the three.
FAR AS DEFENSE GOES, THE MORE YOU PLAY THE BETTER YOU GET ,REMEMBER THE WEST COAST TRIP......
Pacers need him right now after the Wiseman injury
PROFESSOR X IS BACK!
