There is no short cut and you have to hustle but it is possible! Watch and learn from everyone you can and then pick and choose what works for you. Good luck!
Great video. Listened on the road while I put in a 10hr day. Good tips. Everyone has their own unique background, strategy and circumstances. Some of us are in the slow lane and some of us are in the fast lane, but we are all on the same road trying to reach the same destination. I am more with Brian's mentality. Pay as you go vs debt. If you do catch a slow month, those extra cans sitting don't hurt at all. But, then as Josh said you can always sell off if you fail and that got me thinking. Started adding up all my cans and equipment and I have $200k, all paid for, along with a healthy cash cushion which I just moved into a 4% money market commercial account today. All that being said I feel like I am in a pretty good position and decided to put another order in for more 30's with Bram. Just listening to this video gave me some perspective. Quit being scared, look back on how far I have come and aim high in the future.
That is a great mindset and the right way to go about the business! There’s no right or wrong, as long as you’re trying. There’s successes and setbacks, challenges and wins. Keep hustling brother!!
@@BackRoadBound definitely was a good conversation and even though I’ve had similar conversations with these guys in the past, I still left there rethinking my approach to 2025.
Great video, if you afraid to start your business, remember: YOLO, but yes be smart when you spend your money. And even smarter when you’re spending somebody else money.(banks).
@@dylandunne1165haha i hear ya! This is a sales and marketing business. Dumpsters are the product. Have to know how to get the phone to ring and then convince somebody why they should do business with us.
I know there has gotta be customers that rent dumpsters in both Texas and Arizona. We service central Phoenix and all the surrounding cities!!! We can help each other with national accounts!!!!
Great info, starting my own dumpster rental business soon and this brought me a lot of peace of mind

Word of mouth referrals is icing on the cake. Always advertise to get the new customer.
I’m working on catching up with the times and not relying on my old school ways as much
