Also interesting conversation about death. Getting the answer to the question “WHY do we die?” is satisfying. Even more than that is that we can live forever and never die. 「つまり」 と 「要するに」 の 違いは何？
We Japanese use them as the same thing.
I looked them up in the dictionary but there is virtually no difference between つまり and 要するに.
According to the dictionary,
" つまり " is used to paraphrase or summarize the previous sentence in an easy-to-understand manner.
" 要するに " is used to summarize and paraphrase the previous sentence.
In English, it is roughly like… ↓

Despite the serious topic i understood todays video suprisingly well, including kanji. Yaaay, bit by bit, I guess XD thank you as always for your great help. And I might do my vocabs on the last day on earth probably, haha XD but I admit I might go party or something in the evening :P
The saying with the apple tree is very nice, we know it here, too. It also made me think of olive trees when you talked about it with him, I don't know why. I suppose it is the next level? An olive tree will not bear fruits for many years after planting the seed to the point that you are supposedly planting an olive tree not for yourself, but for the future generation. I do not know if it is true, but isn't that also somewhat beautiful to think about especially seeing how much olive oil is part of some cultures daily meals?

As humans we have this thoughts, that someday I'll time on earth will be over, but we have to be aware that our souls lives on. An evidence which shows that our souls live on is when one is asleep, and yet sees his or herself in a dream, though asleep.
There is an after life where every soul of a man shall be, there is a spiritual part of every man, your belief nor my belief does not stop where are souls shall be, because when you think about it though the different beliefs that men have we all are on earth, why are we not in a different place because of our beliefs.
So, beloved there is a place called enternity where the souls of men moves to, in enternity there are two places Heaven and Hell. So, when we meet our creator who sent Jesus, his son to this earth 2000 years ago to die for the sins of the world. I love you that is why I had to drop this here. God loves you more. ( please you can read John 3 verse 16). If only you can believe and call on Jesus who died for all our sins, he will come to you and give you hope of eternal life in Heaven.

This conversation was certainly God-sent - to me at least. I often walk around with this nagging fear of losing my loved ones, especially if I'm away from them for even an hour. You've got a good point, though, it's much wiser to focus on enjoying the present time given to us than worrying about future possibilities, especially ones we don't even know when or even if they'll occur. Thanks for your channel, I will certainly be returning in a month when my Japanese studies start in earnest!

Hello, l have just found your channel and the earlier videos are hiragana and katakana. If you are a biginner of learning Nihon-go kanji is impossible. Please just use Hiragana and katakana. I would suspect that these videos are targeting Nihon-go learners not native Japanese.
