great review as usual Conor. What really bugged me was we had a right wing back playing at left back and a left back sitting on the bench.......... I think this team is so weak Marti needs to play 3 centre backs and Paal and Ashby as wing back.

I can't see us playing in the championship next season we are diabolical, Far too many bad signings far too many players already at club not good enough far too many mistakes and far too many season skirting relegation All in all we are in a shambolic position only positive is players still seem to be doing best for Marti sadly their best is not good enough

I did see Celar kick at something on the sideline when he was replaced. Looked like a better strike than the missed penalty.

Marti is not to blame for this. No point in putting a new guy in charge of this bunch of players. It has been so Obvious for so long that a Decent Striker was needed and what happens, we buy Celar. Its the people calling the shots that need replacing. The best manager in the World could not do any better with this Shower. Marti Deserves better.

Looks like you may be returning from yours hols as Marty takes his! Do we keep with him? He looked so demoralized and lost at his post Stoke match interview. I fear he will go, when it’s clearly the “decision makers” above him that are at fault.

It is absolutely pointless in considering sacking Marti because with this group of players and all the injuries I defy any new manager to do any better. Clearly a favourite with players and fans - it’s at the top where the failure to progress is paramount 😬

Excellent review. I actually think that we need to ride this out with Marti. Clearly the recruiting has been a disaster apart from Saito and Nardi, with Dembele now out for most of the season. I think the options for Marti have been less than he was given last season. Frey out injured again and that guy that looks like Cesar left as our only 'official' striker. Kevin Gallen has been saying for seasons that we desperately need 3-4 strikers and we really must look in this country for one from a lower league or from a Prem academy, Or two! I agree we should get someone in on a free now but who? Can't think of anyone available. I've said elsewhere that Sheffield Wednesday deployed Paul Warhurst, a centre back as an emergency striker in the 90s and he scored 12 goals in 12 games. Jimmy Dunne has had the most touches so far this season in the opposition box (believe it or not) and he's 6 foot 4 and pretty comfortable in that space. Madder things have happened, apart from the ill fated Danny Shitu experiment Ollie tried. The upside is that Saito really should be playing every match and Varane is starting to get up to speed in the middle. Alfie Lloyd should be given a proper chance. Who knows with Kolli? Apparently injured again! Marti needs to stay. At the moment the players still trust him, he's got half a team and for me Nourry sacking him would be tantamount to steering the Titanic at yet another iceberg with the ship already holed. It would be madness. But this is QPR so who knows. If Marti does go I think after 50+ years as boy and idiot supporting this lot that I'd just go and hide in a cave and perhaps start crochet instead.

Simply we cannot score between 2 sticks. Cifuentes will continue all the way to Div 1 and the Board would be financially content if the fans don't protest.The concept of "Marti will put it right" is ominously risky .I believe we need to be far more decisive.The current team is lightweight, vulnerable and weak ..We could see ourselves going down whilst Ainsworth's goal scoring "Shrews" pass us on the way up....I would like to see Warbs take over ASAP before it is too late

Hi this is WhichCatMulti who sails a 52' Maltese M&M Gun Boat, I liked the Bruce No/ bit & the Confo Cat v Performance Cat. Would like more on the 5 basic design must have in Cat design. Pointing, Dagger Boards, Bridge Deck Clearence, Bruce number etc. I will be doing my own Podcast soon that will tell buyers what not to buy but there are Motor Sailors around. My Cat can Sail fast but I don't do that and have a 73' Mast with two Reefs. I did 20 knots in a Chris White Cat that was fun. I am fedup with the Condo Cats on the market. Give me a well designed Cat that has all 5 Design must have's. Forget the I can Beach it crap. I am a Sailor not a Motor Sailor. Barry Parkinson

I really enjoyed your podcast. I interviewed Mark when he was our manager and found him smart, well-spoken, friendly and committed to the club. Nothing seems to have changed. When you consider we swapped his commitment for the baseness of Beale's..... I want Marti Cifuentes to stay, but if the results go against us in the next 2-3 games and he goes - I would be delighted to welcome Mark back!

QPR have at last announced the status of their injury woes but it matters not when when we cannot cut out set pieces without JCS or score with no midfield or wing provision for Celar - and come January lets go for scouting. And forget data analysis. .

I’m not getting onboard with all this negativity, where is everyone’s backbone? Tough it out and keep supporting QPR through the bad bits, moaning isn’t going to help the hoops is it

I´m so pesimistic about QPR

A certain level of doomed fatigue there that I think most of us feel, especially with the news that hardly any of our injured players are back any time soon. Most worryingly JCS , Frey and Chair seem to be at the back of that queue and we won't see Dembele until Halleys Comet goes by again (unbelievably bad luck) . I agree 4-4-2 is a better idea with Alfie up top with that guy that looks like Zan Celar. Stoke have been enormously generous to us over the years at Loftus Road but I just can't see anything other than the bad run continuing with so many players still not ready. You almost wonder if they should throw Jimmy Dunne up front Paul Warhurst style (probably before your time) as he always looks good in the opposition's area. Enjoy L.A. Certainly sunnier and less depressing than W12 at the moment.

Excellent interview mate. Exceptional questioning and incredible insight from one of my favourite managers of the last 20 years. I feel Mark was given a little bit of a raw deal and it didn’t sit well with me in terms of the way he left the club. Thanks again for organising this and wish Warbs all the very best.

Great interview, have always been impressed at how articulate and genuine MW is. Have watched a video of a young school boy doing an interview with Mark who could have easily patronised him however he answered in the same way as he did here giving full and informative answers, top bloke for sure. Like many I was surprised and disappointed when QPR, didn't renew his contract, a regrettable decision by Mr Ferdinand.
