Hi! Is there beach to get into the water like with kids in costa maya or Cozumel without having to book an excursion?

Cruising is my favorite vacation. I’ve never been on one of the huge ships. Too many people for me. I’m ready to go again. My last cruise a couple of years ago was a 14 day Caribbean on the Norwegian Sun! I’ve been to the Caribbean many times, 2 Alaskan and I cruised the Greek Islands. Hopefully my next will be in the early winter. I’ve always left from Florida. I have friends that live there. I’m from Central California I love watching your cruising videos, but I don’t know if I could handle the huge crowds. I’ve sailed on the Princess, Norwegian, Holland American and Epirotiki. I’m 75 and love cruising!

Carnival Spirit was the first cruise ship we were on back in 2009 out of San Diego.

Can’t wait to go there next April on the Wonder!!

What we do when in Cozumel is to exit the main area to the left and walk all the way to San Miguel. Lots of interesting stuff to see going and coming.

My cruise doesn't go to Belize, It goes to Puerto Plata for my 16th birthday on July 25. 32 days left.

Cozumel is my favorite port.

Just looking at the crowd in the encore lounge im glad i dont do excursions anymore. Im sure the actual adventure was great.

Sailing in November already planning to stay on board the ship for spa day.

Great video! How was the weather when you got to the sea and the ports? My family and I are going on the same cruise in February 2025. I've read when you leave Galveston in February it's like in the 60s? I've only gone on cruises leaving from Miami, so I wonder how this weather compares. :)

I was on the jubilee about a month or so ago and this same situation happened to us! We were so close to land and they turned around and left. I’m not sure what is going on with this port but I would say they should take it off the list. I’m in plenty of facebook groups that have said that have had the same outcome. It’s such a let down!

Just curious, approximately how much are the cruises you take (like lowest to highest prices) do you have a cruise pass that gives you discounts, or an agent that gets you into like a package trip for cheap, or do you book last minute at dirt cheap prices (to fill the ship),

Do watch 'Cruise with Ben and David" they do cruise reviews ever Sunday. They recently went on the Icon of the Seas and did a video or 3 on it. BEN is really funny and makes funny saying orinnuendo. .

Yes! Agree those huevos rancheros in the blue iguana are the best breakfast on carnival hands down. My favorite and the line is always pretty short, shhhh don’t give away our secret haha 😂.
