We had just gotten on the ship and a staff member asked us if we wanted to reserve a spot for that evening. Super easy! We were not impressed enough to go back. It was good, but not great.

I tried ChiBang on Mardi Gras almost three years ago now. I’ve never gone back! I didn’t like it at all.

Yeah the food was just ok or not that special. But I did like JiJi Asian kitchen on the vista that was good. Also there are so many good Mexican restaurant around my hometown it’s hard to not compare.

@@FowlerFamilyFun I live in Central Texas and grew up in South Texas. So I agree with you on finding better Mexican food at home! We’re in Pigeon Forge right now and am thinking we need to go to Guy Fiery’s restaurant Downtown Flavortown. I trust his taste in food!

If you have assigned seating times, either early or late, you cannot reserve these restaurants until 8 PM the night of

Worst experience at ChiBang! Poor service and never received our entrees. Neither our waiter or asst. waiter bothered to check up on us. Those guests who sat nearby and arrived after us were already eating their desserts while we continued waiting for entrees. After over 40 minutes waiting for entrees, she and I walked out, but not before speaking to the restaurant supervisor. Of course the "so sorrys" began pouring in but by that time we were already thoroughly humiliated and embarrassed. Although there is no additional charge to dine here during the inaugural year, I would not have paid one cent regardless. Oh, and our appetizers were comparable to the service we received. Anyways, that was our experience...hope yours is better if you so choose.

Chibang does have a lot of hype. It was just ok. I would have left as well in your case. No need to wait that long especially when your earlier service was not good.

Maybe just tell us you ate it before you could take a picture. No need to show proof of that. Those empty plates were quite off putting. 😰
