I decided to buy the Cheetah trio despite I was aware of the cons that I expressed in detail in one older video of mine about this collection. This proves 2 things: 1. You can be very accurate in analysing a product before buying it, this can help to reduce later regrets. 2. Purchases can also be done without a need but as a treat. Every now and then, a treat can be good for your soul. Conscious spending should not be a punishment, but instead a well reasoned awareness. Be kind with yourself (and with others). Since I now have the Cheetah palette, in this video I offered you some comparisons so that if you are still tempted by it, you can better understand the colors. Anyway it's a palette with what I consider a great color story, and I'm finding myself looking for it in the morning. That means that at least I can get value from my unnecessary purchase!
Not only do I love that we seem to like many of the same things so it’s so helpful, but I just love the way you think about makeup and how you reason your way through the process of deciding what you’re purchasing. It’s helped me do the same!
I also purchased the trio. I couldn't resist the packaging & I know I'll get a lot of use with this palette especially for travel. I won't be getting anything from the holiday collection.
I think it’s a beautiful chic purchase! I totally understand the urge to buy something, even when it seems irrational. I had a similar experience with the new Chanel cream-to-powder blushes. The formula is fantastic, but the shades are so boring and predictable: oranges, peaches, reds, and pinks. I wish the range offered more nuanced and complex shades. Despite this, I gave in and bought Beige Éclatant, and I’m also eyeing Rose Radiant. Totally illogical, I know, but I really love the formula. Bobbi Brown also released new eyeshadow trios, and the shade Everyday Greys really caught my eye. I swatched it in-store, but wasn’t impressed by the formula. The sparkle shade was quite crumbly and needed to be smoothed out with some effort, though the colors themselves were beautiful. Maybe I’m at the stage in my makeup journey where it’s hard to impress my beauty instincts. I’m not entirely sure.
Thanks dear! I don’t have a BB counter near me, but one BB trio is very similar to this one and it was the one I was the most attracted to. After your comment about the formula, I guess I can skip them 😉
At least you have all these “favourite colours” in one palette and it will be easier if you want to take these colours when you travel. I don’t mind having doubles for this reason. These are my fave colours too but they’re not available in Australia.
I like this palette too but it needs a lighter shimmer for me. A quad with a very light shimmer topper would have been perfect. And it’s too expensive for what I think of the brand. BTW, I copied you and depotted my Suqqu. Talk about orange! So many coppers and warm pinks in my collection. Don’t get me wrong, I like orange but enough is enough. Suqqu repeats coppers and warm pinks worse than I realized. I separated my colors into warm, cool and neutral sets. Now they make more sense to me. You can fit 5 quads in one double sided kitpak and take it traveling. Thank you for the inspiration!!!!!
Oh great! I carefully avoided all the orange palettes by Suqqu, but still I have many orange pans! Suqqu is much superior of a formula than Chantecaille and better priced. But Suqqu color stories are quite repetitive indeed 😘
Oh thank you for this video! I was really tempted by this cheetah packaging and wonderful browns, but I was waiting for a sale and I got the LE new brown palette in the meantime - between your video and the new LE I got, I’m less tempted now, which is a good thing - I feel more satisfied with the browns I have from LE now. The pink and white shimmer she’s got in there are real meh and wimpy and I’m not sure how to use those two, but all the browns are really nice - people say some of the browns look the same, but I think they are all different on me - just no satisfying shimmer in it, so two wasted shades for me but a real nice basic easy and pretty compact - thank you again ❤

Thanks Lisa! I like to share with you my reasoning and this feedback is really important for me 😘

Yes, indeed I find myself looking for this trio. Looks are similar but very pretty

Oh I’m glad it helped! 😘
I’m sure you will still love using it! Hope so:)
Yep, I think I will use it a lot, because these are great colors
