Good "How to" video. Couple of questions, 1) by machining the head, are you raising to compression ratio and do you have to make adjustments to the cam gears? Do you do the process to convert to duel spark plugs per head? Do you do anything to enhance cooling of the exhaust value by adding oil passage around the value? Keep it up!
Yes by machining the sealing face compression will increase if you do not add an appropriate shim under the barrel. We can convert heads to twin plugs if required. No there is no way to add an oil passage way around the exhaust valve. Kurt
Kurt, I'm curious about the fixture you used on the lathe to turn the bottom of the head. Is this something you made or is it available somewhere? Thanks, great info as always.
I have a 1983 SC Targa. It’s been sitting in a garage, engine hasn’t started in over 10years. What are the chances that you can get it back to work so that o can drive it daily? Thanks. Admire and appreciate your skills.
Excellent, as always! Keep at it!
Thanks Chuck

@@chrismac2264 That's a piece that we made to do that job.

Should not be a problem. You can reach out to us directly at contact@klassikats.com if you would like to discuss it further.
