The compact is 2 layer, not 3 layer like the Camper/Hiker. It comes with the Plus + scale package with the pin, pen and mini driver in corkscrew. It also has a spiecal nail file on the back of the multipurpose hook.

That's not the factory band that comes on the 2x. The Instinct 2x has a 26mm lug width that tapers down to a 22mm. Makes a big difference in comfort and appearance.

The new Enduro 3 screen is amazing and it's a great watch. Download a new watch face. Problem solved. Much cheaper than Fenix and much better than Instinct.

How’s the back plate on the E3? Ordered one and the plastic back was bent and discolored. Garmin replaced the watch and it arrived looking worse than the first. Maybe a bad batch. That said, I wish they stuck with titanium on the rear.

I could not understand, you can use all the straps compatible with Fenix 8 51mm with this watch, as I know.

Are the watch faces on the store that limited? I've been considering getting an enduro or an instinct because I'm sick of the Galaxy watch's horrendous battery life. Coming from a galaxy watch I'm used to 10s of thousands of options on Facer. While I certainly don't expect that level of support it seems like there would be at least 100s on Garmin's store... dozens even? If there's only a few then that's a bit disappointing.

Can't we make and design our own display screens for these watches? I did sit down and start making one for the Instinct 2, saved the url's etc... and was meant to go back to it but haven't as yet. But pretty much had all the fields I wanted on my display at the time. Just needed to download it onto the watch.

It looked like you were doing the erase gesture wrong a couple times and didn't right the last time. Its in the instruction manual on the SN, but theres a better step by step on their website in the support section. Follow that and it will work every single time. You can also use the slide bar, but most of time I just use rhe in screen icon. I probably will convert a Lamy Al-star to ceramic jusy to have the pen button though

I'm a lefty and I wear mine on my left wrist like you should do and it's very comfortable

I find it interesting that so many people leave their pen cap in the loop instead of removing the whole pen from the loop.

Try 2 finger on the side slider for erase. it is in the settings.

4:09 - I see no real reason to upgrade, unless your hard drive is full and need the extra storage the A5X2 offers via the removable SD Card. Personally, I prefer the old form-factor as the back was protected by the cover, but to many aesthetics matter more than usability, so I understand why they did it.
