An observation I noticed after ending video. When I installed Reddit via ADB it did not work, however when I installed via apkpure app it does work.
This is an interesting exercise but I feel it really thwarts the purpose of the Supernote. You might as well get the Go 10.3.
I can see that. For me however lets me minimize need now for another device esp if traveling on plane and also for reading being able read news.
@ what about a workflow that saves an RSS feed of news a PDF to Dropbox/Google Drive for new articles? Zapier or an idle computer could do it.
@@liketheduck yea could work as well but for me easier to just have the finance app and news app.
Although I don't have one but the concept of this device is not meant to be "tablet" it's a note taker in the first place and secondly it's an ereader. If someone wants the full android experience then Onyx boox note 4c will be the best. Pre-ordered supernote manta for a few reasons one of them is the screen carta 1300, no notifications/no distractions, handles PDF really good compared to others especially marking and writing on top of PDFs, SD card slot availability. I wish next release of the device would have a larger screen like 11in. I wonder if pocket would work on it! Thx for testing it and sharing.
agree on its purpose. But as eReader not everyone is into books. I prefer reading articles so having yahoo finance app and news app is helpful to have something to read. Its now powerful enough to fun all the apps/games like true tablet. but reading articles or doing a crossword just makes the devices even better for me.
@@RandoRaf Thx for commenting! Totally agreed; as you know each one of us would look at the device subjectively no matter how objective we wanna be. I'm really excited and waiting for the order to be delivered hopefully early in January. Again, thx for sharing and replying.
Idk how useful/nessecary a file explorer would be on a supernote, but id be curious to see how/if solid explorer works🤔

Can you install a dictionary on the Supernote Manta? Maybe as a third party app or something.
