Use torches everywhere man! It stops the mobs from spawning near you, I’m freaking out watching you in the dark 😱😬

For me getting better with my social anxiety was teaching a children's martial arts class and private lessons for adults. You gotta do things that put your self out in front of people to overcome it. Preferably something you feel very comfortable with if no one is there. Add people to it.

I know it's been a year since last comment from someone so this is old stuff but just in case anyone watches this video and reads this. Building isn't necessarily best in odd numbers. Some prefer that. Some even. But to me it really depends on the overall build. A big symmetrical base that I intend of placing double doors in the front it is good to make it symmetrical with even not odd.

I'm theorizing the problem with the door at the very beginning, was that in order to close it, you needed to right click the place where it usually is when closed. Thus, right clicking the open door wasn'tdoing anything, because the game wasn't registering the door to be where it appeared. Imo, that's a bit of an oversight from devs 😅

4:32:26 These lava pools indicate that this is a treasure room bastion. These bastions are especially interesting because the bigger room has either one or two chests surrounded by gold blocks. These chests always contain the netherite upgrade along with pretty good stuff. However, if you rush down there immediately, you'll almost certainly die to the piglin brutes standing above the platform, plus the magma cube spawners. So if you were to explore it, you probably should start by the top floor, take out all piglins one by one using a lava bucket (very useful item when looting a bastion in general). Once all piglins are taken out, you can just drop to the floor below and restart the process. When getting close enough to the floor, break the magma cube spawners, kill the remaining mobs (can use a bow for magma cubes, since they're immune to lava), and then go loot the middle chests and the gold block. Also, the floors occasionally have chests too, but they aren't as OP as the bottom ones. There is an extra wall on the side of the bastion containing more chests. For this side, the same strat should do the trick. Start by the top, pour lava down on piglins, and then loot

look up automatic cooked chicken farms for java. that is probably the best and easiest way to keep yourself stocked with already cooked food passively. I have one near every single area where I spend a lot of time. it hatches chickens from eggs and then cooks them so you get a pretty good supply of food. it's not super quick if you make the smallest version but it will be a stable source of food that is being made passively when you are in the area. it uses a repeating circuit and is a good way to start learning about Redstone. another good farm is an automatic bamboo farm. an automatic bamboo farm can be used as source of fuel for an automatic smelter to cook food and stones and dyes and smelt metals, as a source of sticks for largescale villager trading, the easiest wood type to be auto farmed for a beginner to fulfill all your wood needs. You can also make automatic sheep shearing farms to collect all the colorful types of wool. You can also make an automatic bone and arrow farm from a skeleton spawner instead of making an xp farm.

Future tips for anyone making this farm: You can make more villagers as long as you have 2 already and more beds then villagers. drop 3 bread to each villager, or 6 carrots each. 12 carrots or 6 bread makes 1 villager. to make 20 from 2 you will need at least 108 bread (almost 2 stacks) or 216 carrots {almost 4 stacks}. As long as the job blocks (fletcher tables) are already in place you shouldn't have too many green villagers but if they appear you will need to kill them and have more food to breed more villagers. Sometimes instead of golems you will spawn cats. Best way to make sure you don't have cats spawning in the kill chamber is to tame 2 cats (each one takes up to 9 raw salmon or cod) and then breed 3 kittens (6 more raw salmon or cod). leave the cats sitting under the farm (to ward off stray creepers) or inside with the villagers. this way only golems will spawn inside the kill chamber of the iron farm. a new cat spawns for every 4 villagers so the cats will keep spawning in the kill chamber until you do this.

I know I’m late, but here’s some advice for any new player reading: 1. Wear gold gear (just boots is enough) so the piglins won’t attack you. But don’t make the mistake of hitting one, opening chests, or breaking blocks of gold in front of them, or they’ll come after you. You can trade with piglins by throwing them gold. Also, make sure your golden boots are enchanted and sturdy so they last longer. 2. Zombified piglins won’t attack you unless you hit one. If you do, they’ll all come after you (tens, and tens of them), and they have good memory and hold grudges. 3. If you accidentally look at an enderman, quickly build a two-block-high shelter with a low ceiling. Endermen are three blocks tall, so they won’t be able to reach you under there. Cobblestone or other non-flammable blocks work well. Now you can hit them and they can’t hit you. 4. 16:11 Striders are peaceful and can be mounted using Saddles, and you can control their movement using a warped fungus on a stick. They’re useful to cross the lava because they don’t burn. 5. Never use a bed in the Nether. It’s tempting to try and set a spawn point, but beds explode in the Nether and can deal serious damage. Horrible idea. 6. Avoid the Nether if you’re brand new to the game. Get experience fighting hostile mobs first and make sure you have strong, enchanted diamond armor and weapons. Bring golden carrots, golden apples, and a few stacks of cobblestone (because it doesn’t burn). You’ll also want crossbows or bows to handle Ghasts, plus fire resistance potions (trust me, you’ll need them.)
