    Surround the enchantment table with bookshelves and keep them one block away from the enchantment table.

    25:00 You need an anvil to use those. Also put bookshelfs around your enchantment table to get better enchants but keep 1 block between.

    This series brings me back to late last year, when I started out with Minecraft. Especially when I went into 1.19 into the Nether for the first time. I love the series! I enjoyed you learning stuff yourself for most part! And you have such a relaxing voice! Keep on going! :)

    Inventory management tip:
    Always have 30-64 logs with you. at any time. any logs will do.
    Need a crafting table? It cost 1 log. Need a chest? two logs. logs are your main consumable throughout most of the game.
    need torches? 1 log + 8 coal is 32 torches. and so on.
    1 log = 4 planks = 8 sticks. e.g. 1 plank is 1/4 of the log and a stick 1/8th.
    If you have enough logs with you, you could pepper crafting tables around, not bothering in picking them up. they make a good breadcrumbs trail and might serve as a landmark if you lost.
    And yeah, I don't have an aneurysm. I feel nostalgic. Learning those little quirks is most of the fun.

    Anvils can be used to rename items (including selecting a name for the name tag) and can also allow you to combine your tools with enchanted books. They cost a lot of iron though.

    i am a long-time hardcore-casual minecrafter who enjoys watching people discover things for themselves, you're great! there are sooo many people who are learning to play for the first time via chat yelling instructions at them that it's kinda sad in some ways.

    • @Thete
      @Thete 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Same I've probably played like 4-5000 hours but it's fun to watch people discover the game :)

    • @webdrude
      @webdrude 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Thete there is a sort of natural tension between humans not wanting to look dumb and humans wanting to watch others struggle... but it's certainly the discovery i enjoy.

      Honestly it feels nostalgic, I think we all used to play like this and it's great to watch

    A Creeper farm would could be a bit advanced for your experience level. In essence it is a pitch black box that is built in such a way that only creepers (and spiders) spawn. 1 version uses a redstone clock to flush the mobs into a killing chamber, another uses cats to get the creepers to run off the platforms. Creepers are scared of cats.
    To get things out of boats without killing them, break the boat.
    Unsit your cat before going to bed, it brings various 'presents' for you when you wake up.
    Remember to replant the saplings that drop from the trees, they will grow into new trees. 4 jungle saplings in a square for big trees, same with Dark Oak, and Spruce trees.
    To use the enchanted books and nametag you will need an Anvil. That uses several Iron blocks made of 9 iron each.
    Remember to keep farming, food is important.

    I'm so happy that you're finally taking things easy. It seems cheating but googling info on how to use the enchantment table is something worthwhile and if you want more diamonds just mine where you got the diamonds, usually you pike 2 stacks of 64 cobelstone in a straight line and then mine corridors to the sides. I wish you success, the goal is to have all the diamond armor with protection4 unbreakability 3 and mending

    Creeper farm/mob farm . Its just making a dark room high in the air where they can spawn . There is channels of water nearby to push them down to their deaths .

    Most Redstone components do some effect when powered. Sources of power include pressure plates, buttons, levers and Redstone torches. You already have a simple example with the pressure plate in front of your door as the door opens when powered. Droppers throw an item from inside of them, pistons push blocks, etc.
    Redstone can be placed as dust to make a signal travel a distance, if you wanted a lever to open a door several blocks away for example. It can only go so far before running out of strength however unless you use a repeater to extend the distance.
    The observer detects a change in the block is facing, for example if you break it or if a plant grows, and powers behind it when it happens.
    Hoppers can take items from a container above them, or just loose ones on top and will put them into a container below. For example, you can put 1 above to automatically input a variety of items and have one before to move the finished items into a chest.

    1 block of water will water 4 blocks of tilled soil in each direction. So 9x9 tilled soil with 1 block of water in middle. Sugar cane has to be planted directly next to water.

  • @leftundersun
    @leftundersun ปีที่แล้ว

    You need to make a 9x9 plantation, make a hole in the center and put water in it. I like to put a fence inside the water hole so I can walk through my plantation without falling in the water.

    farms in minecraft are for making more amount of certain things. for example a sugar cane farm. iron farm. gold farm and .... . the redstone is like a kind of programming language. you can make farms with redstone-based things. for example you can use a observer to detect that a sugar cane or bambo has grown. you put a piston under it with a block behind the piston and put a redstone dust on that block. it is a kind of automatic farm.

    You can farm everything in minecraft. I suggest you look up some videos. You have to know how and where they spawn and use that to your advantage. You need to surround the enchanting table with bookshelfs, one block out. 15 bookshelfs give you the maximum enchanting level. If you put Fortune enchantment on a pickaxe you can receive double or triple material from 1 ore

    I'm finally caught up on your Minecraft series, and I'm so glad you're still at it! I'm having so much fun watching you discover and learn!
    About those creeper farms... Not yet. They *are* super cool, but they also take a lot of resources, they're pretty dangerous to work on, and you don't need all that much gunpowder. ... yet.
    I'd say if you want to progress, keep searching for those blaze rods. If you want to explore, consider looking into map making before heading out. And if you want to tinker, then give that redstone another look. Make a few redstone torches, a button, a lever, a fence gate, and bring along a stack of redstone dust. That should get you started learning the basics, in case you'd rather figure it out instead of reading the wiki.
    Thanks, looking forward to more!

    You need to remove the dirt behind the fences, monsters can jump into the pin from on top of the dirt.

  • @Faerie_Kim

    A button or lever can be used to activate a dropper or dispenser. They're pretty similar but droppers will always just drop the item while dispensers can do cool things like fire arrows and eject water (rather than just drop the water bucket item).

  • @kimilush
    @kimilush 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    You need 15 bookshelves with the enchanting table, it’ll help you get better enchantments ( the max you need is 15, it’s best to have 15 ) and I can’t explain how you’re suppose to set it up, but a quick image google search can show you how you’re suppose to place it :)
    Also for the books, you will need an anvil for it ( you need iron )
    Anddd for the creeper farm, it’s basically where you farm creepers? It’s hard to explain but you can search videos on TH-cam, you can do this farm with basically any mob! Chicken, cow, enderman, zombies, etc

    some more pro-tips. Don't pass on coal. coal, early game, is a lifeblood. mine all coal, spam torchers everywhere. Mobs spawn in the dark, less darkness - fewer mobs. BE afraid of the dark. darkness is not your friend.
    learn how to grow and cut mega-jungle trees (easy, really). It might be not the prettiest wood type, but it's still good as a consumable.
