🌻Nether wart is found in the Nether Fortress (where you find the blazes), there are stairs wich have soul sand around it, and there will be Nether warts there. 🌻 You can grab some soul sand and plant the nether warts on it, in your home so they grow and give you more like any other crop. 🌻For almost any potion you need and awkward potion first, wich you get with nether wart, then you put the other ingredients, otherwise you will get a mundane potion. 🌻 Also once you have your potion you can add redstone dust or glowstone dust to increase the effect or the duration of the potion. 🌻 Phantom will appear if you don't sleep for some days ( I think is like 3 days or so).
i remember that i've abandoned many worlds in Minecraft due to dying in the End dimension losing all my enchanted netherite gear elytras, shulkers to the void, frustration is part of this game.
When you sleep unseat your cat, it will bring a 'present' each night. there is a rare chance it could be a phantom membrane (used for potion of slow falling).
@ItsBreePlays yes it will, and the going to sleep animation frequently has the sleep on the player. When you get up, you can put it back outside again. Can always bring another cat home, they should be spawning in the iron farm (and burning with the golems). With 2 cats can breed more by feeding them fish keep one by your bed.
I've binged your let's play over the last couple days and am sad that Im now caught up and have to wait! After watching you die soooo many times I am impressed with your perseverance. The pain of the learning process is can be so painful. You're a pleasure to watch!
Bree, BREE, please read; I've been playing Minecraft almost since the beginning, before there was hunger or bosses or even enchanting. One thing that has ALWAYS been true is you NEED to read the Wiki. Have it open at all times, and whenever you find something new, or want to do something new, read the wiki FIRST. Whether it's intentional, or a failing of the game, you CANNOT play Minecraft without the Wiki to explain to you how to do it. My other advice is to progress sideways; what I mean is do things you're comfortable with until you feel comfortable doing more. Add onto your house, make it really pretty and awesome, if you want, instead of trying to prep for the Ender Dragon (which'll be painful and end in loss and frustration at this point anyway). I beat the Dragon for the first time about a year ago, because it was first time I felt like doing it (after years of just building and exploring until I learned what stuff is). There's no pressure, except what you create in your mind. But please, please read the Wiki. Ex. "What's Netherite?" Open the wiki, read about it until you understand what it is, where to find it, and what it does for you. Then go find it if you feel comfortable. Minecraft is about "taming" this world, and there's no need to "progress" to anything you don't feel you're ready for. Also, sidenote, if you're playing on Bedrock, you may want to switch to Java. This would mean starting over, but that's not a bad thing at all. You'll know stuff now you didn't before, so it should be a more fun, chill experience. As I understand it, Bedrock is missing a lot of features, or they're just different altogether, and Java is the most commonly played version, so most of the tutorials will be for Java. Have fun, SLOW DOWN, build a giant dream house and chill!
This Exatly! I played for 2 years before fighting the dragon, I only went for it because I desperately wanted shulker box’s in my “no cheating all vanilla” world so I could keep building and moving my resources more easily, don’t even get me started on flying lol. I’ve been mostly been building fun, stuff farming and exploring (which I enjoy) I research things when I happen on them, or see it in videos, and I go months before trying it. I only recently got netherite gear and tools, and it was a frustration to get all I needed for a full set and took me two months lol. I have learned to make exactly 1 potion, which I wanted for going into a ocean monument and it’s been 2 the s slowly preparing for that and psyching myself up to go lol. I have not gone to the deep dark or have fought a wither (ne no, just no, hells no) My first rage quit was when I couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t enchant. I had all the bookcases, I had the enchantment table I set it up right, I just didn’t realize about the levels, I had wondered what the stupid “green jingle orbs” I occasionally got were for, and died a lot so never actually got high levels. I actually deleted my 6 month old world because I was so mad. (Really wish I didn’t do this now lol) that was a breaking point for me, and I went and read everything of the wiki, researched, watched TH-camrs where I fell in love with GoodTimesWithScar and PearlescentMoon, the bromance that is Grian and Mumbo and the wonderfully madness which is the rest of the Hermits on Hermitcraft. Watching their videos gave me to push to do a lot of stuff and make a new world which is now 1.5 year old. Long time for me ;)
The nether wart can ONLY be found inside a nether fortress. Same place you got those blaze rods. In fact you ran past some while you were there before. If I could make a recommendation, focus instead on enchanting for now. Get some levels and try your best to avoid death. Fishing is an excellent way to get xp and has zero risk. If you start fishing a lot you can get enchanted books, use them in an anvil to make enchanted stuff! You also get enchanted bows that you can fix in an anvil too. Plus unlimited fish so you never run out of food again. In other words: fish > enchant > nether fortress > nether wart > potions
Thank you for this series. I found this 2 days ago and binge watched the entire thing right on time for the latest episode. Your humor and editing are perfect for Minecraft. Im sure you will see in other comments that you need to explore the nether fortress for the elusive nether wart. Also the trade you want from piglins is fire resist potions they will make dealing with blazes and the nether in general much easier. Last advice I would suggest you look into a cow farm cooked steak is one of the best foods you can have the best food is golden carrot which you can get as a trade from farmers. Again thank you for the series and continued success on your youtube journey.
I just find out my new favourite series, a new minecraft player enjoying the game that's so rare these days and you're doing it so great!!! Going for the dragon might be a little too ambicious since requires a good use of the bow and arrows, so you might need to use a little bit more the bow to practice. Nether ward appears in farms inside the fortress, once you find some go away from the fortress and don't forget a stack of soul sand to farm the nether ward. And even before create potions you probably would like to learn about villagers proffesions, breeding and trading. It helps a lot to improve in the game that is one of the reasons in which players are no longer go to mine in the game xD. Easily you can get enchanted diamond armours and tools without risking your life mining or going for experience killing mobs. Best ways to gain experience at this point in the game: mine for redstone, quartz in the nether or go to hoe sculk blocks. Those are faster ways to get xp instead of villager trading, in contrast, villager trading requires a lot of time to set it up but once you get your trading hall it becomes a safer way to get xp and a lot of items. Bamboo can be cut with a sword and be used for sticks, that way you can save some wood and since bamboo grows so fast sticks become a better combustion resource instead of wasting wood. Expand you potato farm, with sticks as a combustion you can get a lot of food easily. Remember that dirt requires to be as far as 5 blocks from a water source to be farmeable. Have an amazing week girl, greetings from México!
Lol, I was surprised you managed to keep it cool for so long after dying million times. Some tips after you cool off, leave nether for now you dont need to go there and potions while they sound good you can be fine without them. Just focus on getting diamond gear and enchant it when you reach level 30 also dive more into villager trades, they are very useful and will make you life easier
lol, this is definitely something we all go through. The first time I got full enchanted diamond armour I thought I was invincible. Was mining an hour or two later and was still a noob so was staying too close to the blocks as I was breaking them. I broke one over a lava lake, walked forward and fell in, and couldn't get out. I lost everything. I shut down Minecraft right there and didn't play again for two or three weeks 😂. It was an important learning experience. Fantastic series though, I just found it a few days ago and have watched them all. Great entertainment, i hope you keep the videos coming
I hate to say it but this is one of the best episodes yet simply because of the frustration at the end XD::::::: ItsBreeplays minecraft experience is truly the gift that keeps on giving
I'm really enjoying your series. Watching you learn and progress in the game is so entertaining. I hope you'll continue to play even though you are furstrated at the moment. One thing I like to do when I'm annoyed by the hostile mobs is to take a break from the danger and practice building stuff at my base to make it look better. Then at some point I'll be bored of that and then I'm ready to hit the caves/nether again :)
Idk who invented soul sand valleys, but they don't have any love in their heart. It's literally a biome where you're slow all the time, I'm a open space against skeletons, and ghats spawn more. I literally rage quited several times because of it. The only I could walk around it was building tunnels.
You got this! Just eat more and keep your health bar up. The xp number between your health and hunger bars is important for enchanting. You want it to be above 20 for better enchants. 30+ is best.
😊 hi Bree, love your minecraft video’s. Keep it up. Just a few lifesaving tips😅 or battle training to do : 1. when fighting mobs do Not click continuously (it weakens your hits), just one click (mob will be hit slightly to the back)... then click again (when mob moves back towards you) 2. if you jump and hit a mob with sword or axe while falling back to the ground, you have a chance to hit with a critical hit (more damage) 3. learn to block with your shield 🛡 (you cannot block and attack at the same time though) this can deflect so many attacks like arrows, kreeper blasts, etc.
Hey bree, I thought I'd offer you some important tips: -Try bringing a Bow & Arrows to the Nether. It'll really help against Ghasts. Normal bows can kill them in two hits. -Nether Wart can be found in Nether Fortresses. They'll be growing on Soul Sand. Once you get Nether Wart, you can plant them back home and grow more, so you never have to go looking for them again. I'd HIGHLY recommend you plant some before you start using it. -Magma Cream can be used to brew a Potion of Fire Resistance, which will be a HUGE help in the Nether. Potions of Fire Resistance temporarily make you invulnerable to fire and lava. If you do make these, I'd recommend you keep one in your inventory, in case you fall in lava or something. -In the Ancient City, you can find Echo Shards, which could really help you. 8 Echo Shards and a Compass creates a Recovery Compass, which is a compass that points to the location of you last death. -In the Ancient City, you can surround the Sculk Shriekers in wool blocks (not carpet, but full blocks) so that vibrations won't be able to trigger them. Stepping on them will still activate them. Hope these help!
Ok. Enough people would have said this but, in a few lines(maybe), here are the points to take: - You need to get and grow Nether Warts(found in NETHER Fortresses, grown on "Soul sand")so you have it in excess. - The Nether Wart comes first in potion making. At ALL times. Then follows the other stuff. - The potions duration and enhancements can be done with redstone and glowstone dust respectively. - Fire resistance potion is your best friend in the Nether. - If you need to stack up XP, do a lot of mob hunting and try not to die. Whether you die at lvl 30 or 100, it will only give you back 7 levels. - For the point above to work, you need good armor AKA enchanted iron/diamond/✨netherite✨ armor - For easy armor, look into trading with villagers. There's so much to know, and I can't just dump all that here. - Calmness at all times is required to conquer Minecraft. Trust me, stressing about it makes it worse to bear, and frustration may be inevitable, but it's how you react that matters. - Make your doorways or gates two blocks wider. Easier to move through.
Potions are hard, I used to always forget the recipes, so here's some tips: Nether Wart is basically a potion initiator, you need it for almost every potion. Just add them to a bottle of water to create awkward potions. They can only be found in the nether fortress, you will know you're close to them when you find a little pit of lava. After that, it comes the item for the specific potion, like golden carrots for night vision, or blaze powder for strength. After that, you can use three different things: Redstone will make the effect last longer, glow powder will make it more efficient, and after those, you can use gunpowder to make a potion you can throw (good if you wanna make potions with bad effects, to use against foes).
Also for undead creatures like zombies and skeletons the effects of healing and harming potions are reversed And potion of weakness can be brewed without netherwart
As many have said, you need to go to the Nether Fortress to find Netherwort (at the base of some of the staircases inside the fortress. I see a fortress in the upper left of your screen at 22:08.
Unfortunately nether wart blocks don't break down into nether wart. You have to explore the nether fortress to get nether wart. And you need nether wart to make any useful potions.
Gosh, it always pissed me off that Nether Wart blocks couldn't be crafted into Nether Wart. Not for the sake of easy Nether Wart, but because they had no reason to put it on a tree that isn't made of Nether Wart and should've just made a different block to replace it, then made Nether Wart blocks be reverse-craftable for easy storage and transport of large amounts of Nether Wart.
whatever article you read skipped a very important detail about nether wart. It spawns on soul sand in nether fortresses. It does not spawn naturally in the soul sand valley.
1. I'm pretty sure you can un-craft nether wart blocks just by placing them into the crafting menu 2. Phantoms spawn if you don't sleep & don't die for 3 nights straight
Regarding your confusion over your dropped items despawning be aware that the Minecraft world is divided into what are referred to as chunks. These chunks are 16x16 block square areas (horizontally) and they load in when you are near them, and unload when you are a certain distance away from them (it works like this to facilitate memory management). When they unload they are no longer active. The items you drop when you die will remain in place until 5 minutes after the chunk has been loaded and is active. So you could stay away from a chunk for years (IRL) and still find your dropped items if you are returning to the area for the first time since dying. Also be aware this chunk thing also effects things like your crop growth, smelting, iron farm etc. When you are away from a chunk where such things are happening the chunk is unloaded and these activities are no longer active until you are close enough for the chunk to be loaded and active again. Hope this helps. You're doing great BTW. 😉
I suggest you focus on developing a village. You can get enchanted diamond equipment very easy if you do it right. Check out what jobs villagers can have and what blocks enable them. Remember that if you don't like what a villager sells initially you can change it by removing and puting back his job block. But only before you trade with him. Librarians and cartographers buy paper that can be produced in large quantities with a big sugarcane farm. This is the easiest way to get emeralds. And librarians sell enchanted books that will make the enchantment of equipment very easy. Villagers that sell equipment normally buy charcoal initially and iron when they get some levels. Charcoal is easy to get by spelunking or strip mining and your iron farm can get you all the iron you need. This will make those villagers reach to master level very fast, which then enable them to sell diamond equipment. Brewing stands turn villagers into clercs. At mid levels they start selling lapis lazui, which is very rare to find otherwise, and needed to make enchantments. Composters turn villagers into farmers. They will literally work on any farm they have access and distribute the food they produce to other villagers, allowing them to breed without you to waste time doing it yourself. They still need beds for it, thow.
Also, I suggest you get a good bow and a few arrows for the next time you go into the nether. Ghasts are easily defeated by shooting them with arrows. Way easier than shooting back their fireballs.
you should mainly use a bow for killing things from a safe distance, sword/axe is for close combat wich you avoid when u can or are confident enough not to get hit
You don't need potions or netherite to defeat the dragon. Google isn't your friend, ignore it. Just assume you'll die once and have to go back to finish the job. Have some *swords in a chest* near the end portal and set your spawn nearby so you can grab one and go back in. Have some *blocks* you can use to *stack up,* a water bucket to avoid endermen and fall damage and *snowballs* or a bow and arrow to throw at the towers (snowballs are easier to get in bulk). If you really want to make potions, nether wart is in the nether fortress, on either side of the stairs. Place water bottles (not mundane potion) and nether wart. When that is done, pick only one outcome (you can't add several effects at once) and add sugar for swiftness, blaze powder for strength, ghast tear for regeneration, magma cream for fire resistance, phantom membrane for slow falling or a spider eye for poison. Phantoms are annoying birds that show up at night if you don't sleep for several days. Fermented spider eyes corrupt potions to make it something else. To some completed potions, you can add glowstone dust to make it a stronger potion, redstone dust to make it last longer and gunpower to make it splash (throw it so it affects others). For example, if you make water bottle + nether wart + spider eye + fermented spider eye (eye + sugar + mushroom) + gunpower + glowstone - you will get a withering potion that you can throw at enemies and will hurt them for a long time (don't throw it near yourself, you will get hurt).
Yes, something important to know is that endermen are damaged by water and cannot touch it without teleporting away. If you pour a bucket of water at your feet, they can't get to you. And unlike the Nether, water can actually be placed in the End. But beds still explode in the end, so don't place them there unless you're using it as a weapon.
idk if your joking about netherite but theyer is a wiki you should look at it a bit alot of other players do that so they can get a feel of a pro minecraft player
Feather falling? That's a first, most people use MLG water bucket XD Some of those things included just make no sense. You wouldn't even need them (even as a noob I never used an Iron Shovel in any part of the boss fight lol). Anyways I'm excited for another episode of this! You only need Nether Warts for potions (most potions that are useful at least). As for Phantoms, they show up if you haven't slept in 3 days. Also totally get the rage quit XD
@@randomphantom3976 Only thing you could *potentially* need it for is if you're using dirt, sand or gravel to tower up. Can't remember the last time I did it or seen somebody do that though lol
ehh you'll get better..do some research here and there ..practice makes someone perfect.minecraft is most about information though..the more you know the much longer you'd survive,... . . . . . . . tip:-mine so many golds ,trade that with pigling they will give you fire resistant potions..keep 3-4 of them with you...then you can ride on a strider to walk on the lava that way you'll find the fortress quickly,,you can find nether wart only in fortress...as soon as you get near it..note down the cords so you can come back there later...keep some arrows and a bow to deal with ghast..or you can just ignore them if you learn to avoid their attacks...
Your google search results are really misleading, here's a bit of actual information: phantoms appear if you don't sleep for three nights (you mustn't die in that time period) netherwart does grow on soulsand but you can only find it in the nether fortress. also to help with your anxiety around enderman: you are good as long as you don't look directly in their eyes, it is a really narrow part of their hitbox which is easy to prevent looking at once you know this information. Also if you do agro them, you might want to keep a bucket of water or a boat in your inventory, if you place the boat in their path they will automatically enter it, if you place water and stand in the middle they can't reach you (they can't go into water, because they are hurt by it). a final alternative is to just go 2 block deep into a 2 block tall space, you can either mine into the land, or build a little umbrella above you. Yes there are enderman in the End dimension, but it is easy mode if you know and practice all of these tricks. I never use pumpkins anymore with these in mind. If you still feel anxious you can always load up a creative world, then go into survival mode and practice these things. (you can change game modes with F3+F4 in creative worlds) I hope you see and read through this, it will help a lot imo.
WARNING, LONG WINDED TIPS ON WHAT BREE SHOULD DO TO SURVIVE BETTER. CAN BE SPOILERY, BUT IT IS HELPFUL TO KEEP THE FLOW OF HER MINECRAFT EXPERIENCE GOOD INSTEAD OF HER RAGE QUITTING BLINDLY. It really is tough to learn things on your own in Minecraft, it's okay to look things up. Here are some pointers to help you next time: Phantoms appear when you haven't slept for 3 nights or more. They are quite tricky to kill, as they come flying down from above you. Be sure to be equipped with a shield, sword, and food when fighting them. If you die from them, your sleep will reset, and you'll have to stay up for 3 more nights for them to start appearing again. Be careful. For the nether warts, they don't just grow on soul sands in random places, that's why you didn't see any. Look around in a nether fortress, the same place where you found your blaze rods. They grow on soul sands inside a nether fortress. Though there is a chance that a nether fortress won't have nether warts in it, that won't happen often, so don't worry. Take your time to read up on the potion stuff, maybe even watch a video about it. There's tons of tutorials on TH-cam. The mundane and awkward potions are examples of bases when making potions. Drinking them won't do anything. You add special ingredients into them with the brewing stand to make special potions. If you can find the right ingredients (sugar, fermented spider eye, ghast tear, etc.) and add it in the right potion base (mundane, awkward, etc.), you can create potions that will make you stronger in a set amount of time. The enchantment table will upgrade your equipment. You need lapis lazuli, the equipment you want upgraded, and lots of levels. When looking on the enchantment (the unhilighted button that you can't push in this video), the number on the lower right indicates what level you have to be in order to get that enchantment. The number on the left with the green orb indicate how much level that enchant is going to take from you. Surrounding the enchantment table will improve its enchantment capabilities. That means more books equals stronger enchantments, but that also means that they become more expensive in terms of levels. You currently have the maximum amount of books that the enchantment table requires, so the enchantments get very expensive. You can remove some books to use it with less levels (but of course, that also means the enchants are not that strong). On the topic of your levels, you go back to level 0 when you die. When you go back to where you died, you drop experience orbs and respawn with 0 levels. Taking those orbs will only give you a small fraction of experience from what you had before. The bottle o' enchanting you have will drop exp orbs when you throw it to the ground. If you want to keep your levels and survive fighting mobs, watch your hunger bar and health bar. Make sure you are well fed so that you can regenerate. When fighting, especially with skeletons, strike them once with your sword, then cover up with your shield by holding shift with the shield on your left hand. Then get closer and swing again. Don't spam your attacks, as spamming will lessen the damage you give with each swing. Also, don't bum rush creepers when you encounter them. Swing once, and take a few steps back until they stop sizzling (indicating that they are about to explode). Once they stop, run to them again and give them another swing, then run backwards. If you can do these right, you'll be able to keep your levels, and survive a whole night outside. It just takes practice.
I agree with 98% of this, except the spamming part. She's in Bedrock Edition, so spammy attacks are still in the game. On Java, attack spamming DOES reduce damage, but she has Bedrock Edition, hence why there isn't a sword icon in the center of the screen when she attacks. However, spamming still leaves her open to attacks, so timing attacks appropriately is still the best way to survive.
This series is on Bedrock edition (the coordinates display is the giveaway) on which 0 tick mechanics do not work. The world eater is a powerful piece of engineering that relies on 0 tick redstone mechanics. It shows what is possible, but is complex for someone who is starting. I would recommend starting with Mumbo Jumbo's 'Every Redstone Component in Minecraft EXPLAINED!' video, then 'Redstone builds Everyone should know' after which the world eater will be more digestible.
17:10 I know where this is going. You're gonna go to a soulsand valley for nether wart, aren't you? 18:00 Yeah, I figured. I made that mistake when the Nether was first overhauled. No, Google was being misleading. Nether wart grows on soulsand (but not soulsoil), but you can't find it in a soulsand valley. It's most easily found (and I say easy quite cautiously) inside nether fortresses, in an indoor stair room on either side of the stairs (not in the small one you found before). If your fortress doesn't have it, you'll have to find another. Use an online Nether Fortress finder, where you can enter the seed# of your world and your version and get a map of coordinates where nether fortresses MIGHT be found. If you want to travel more easily in the nether, make a path to the nether floor or ceiling and dig tunnels there. That way you don't have to travel in the dangerous biomes of the nether, though as you dig, watch out for lava pockets (little one-block pockets of lava hidden deep inside netherrack). Lava in the nether moves as fast as water in the overworld, and can kill you very easily. Always have a block ready as you tunnel to block the lava if you run into any, and keep at least 2 blocks between you and the blocks you're breaking so that you can react in time. If you choose to dig nether tunnels, you can either do them at the bedrock floor, or bedrock ceiling. If you do it at the floor you'll find a lot more Netherite, but it's possible you'll hit the lower section of a lava ocean, and then there's no way to go farther. If you do it in the ceiling, you'll be guaranteed a good path to wherever you're going, but getting back down can be a challenge. Safe the coords of the end of your tunnel, use an ender pearl to teleport down somewhere semi-safe, and then dig a path back up and use coordinates to find your tunnel again. As you dig, watch where you walk to make sure you haven't hit an opening with a large drop that could kill you. Making the tunnel with be dangerous, but it will make things a lot safer later on. (TIP: 1 block in the Nether is 8 blocks in the Overworld. If you build a portal somewhere far away in the overworld, then build a portal at 1/8th the coords in the Nether, they'll link (as long as there aren't any other portals anywhere nearby), and you can use nether tunnels to get farther faster. As for phantom membranes (the slow falling potions of which have been invaluable for fighting the dragon ever since they came out), they come from Phantoms, which are everyone's least favorite mob and my favorite mob. They attack you at night when you haven't slept for over three days, and are a pain to kill because they fly very fast. The best way to catch them is to dig one block down in a flat area in a 3x3 shape in a plains biome, then build a 3x3 platform above it 3 blocks above ground level, then use slabs to build a ring around that in an umbrella shape. You dig one block down and stand in the middle, and the phantoms will swoop down, hit you or your shield, and try to fly straight upward. With the umbrella shape, they'll get stuck, and you can kill them easily. minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Brewing?file=Minecraft_brewing_en.png Here is a full minecraft brewing guide chart. It's invaluable even for a 10 year player like me. In fact, if you ever have a question, go to that exact minecraft wiki and look it up. It's very diligently kept and has never led me wrong. Enchantment tables have two XP level numbers in them per option. The left one is how much XP it will take from you, and the other is how much you need to unlock that enchantment (a value that changes with the # of bookshelves). You've placed your bookshelves correctly (though the highest layer doesn't affect the table), and that will allow you to get the best enchantments if you can keep yourself at level 30+. I highly recommend making a mob farm of some kind that will allow you to easily and safely get XP points to level up. It's a requirement practically speaking, since manually killing mobs will take WAY longer than just building a semi-difficult farm and having easy XP forever. Make sure though that the title of whatever video you use says "Bedrock Edition" because the game mechanics on BE are different from Java Edition, and the farm will likely not work if it is from JE. About despawning. Your stuff will only despawn after 5 minutes of THE CHUNKS BEING LOADED. If the chunks are not loaded (if you die at the snow mountain and respawn at your house), the timer will only decrease once you return to the area and the chunks are loaded. Also, a few combat tips. Once you get potions, fire resistance potions will make Ghasts and Blazes a lot easier to fight, and make the Nether as a whole a lot easier. Ghasts are deadly but have low health, a bow (preferably with the power enchantment) should take them out easily. Wither Skeletons are deadly up close, so try to take them out with a bow and rely heavily on your shield, or even better, set up some two-block tall gaps that they can't cross through (Wither Skeletons are 3 blocks tall like endermen) and lure them there, then cross through it and attack them from behind the barrier. Blaze fireballs can be 100% blocked with a shield, which makes them a lot easier to fight if you rely on that. Always carry two shields in case your's breaks. For hordes of mobs, stay at a distance and pick them off with a bow, or try to separate them and get them alone (or use a creeper to blow them to kingdom come while you stay safe behind your shield). For avoiding endermen, wear the pumpkin, but there is also a certain key command that you can use to hide your hotbar and hand and health and stuff, and it also hides the "Carved pumpkin overlay" allowing you to see semi-normally without angering the endermen. Read through the controls and see if Bedrock Edition has that, it might be only in Java edition and I can see you have Bedrock Edition. Overall, rely heavily on your shield and time your attacks to avoid getting hit. I just want to be honest here. Over the past month or so, I've been watching a lot of "First time playing MC" videos, and your's have been the best I've seen. I actually think this is better than any of the big MC youtubers. I'm very dedicated to this series and I want to see you succeed in this game. I see here a caterpillar with the potential to become a great butterfly, flying on Elytra wings over the mountain meadows (my goodness that was cheesy), and you're on your way to doing just that. Read the wiki and keep pressing forward. You're learning faster than I ever did. PS: The ancient city doesn't have much that would be of value to someone who hasn't already beaten the enderdragon, since the best thing it has is the Otherside disc and the ingredients for a death-point compass (which most people will likely lose anyway after they die again to whatever got them the first time).
@@CountryRoses I was referring to the fact that when you die, you lose most of it because you can go back to pick up your items, including a few of the xp. I play on Bedrock, so maybe Java is different.
I'm glad I'm not the only one with an acute hatred for the Nether Also Nether wart is found in Nether fortresses, growing on either side of a staircase
OMG !!! You are absolutely Hilarious, Hilarious !!! Keep Going. 30 xp just to get level 3 enchantments. You need an Endermen farm in The End to get ridiculous levels. But that means beating the Dragon. To beat the Dragon you need beds and your Bow and Arrow and a Diamond sword, maybe some water buckets. You don't need potions. Build 3 high shelters in The End to hide from the endermen killing the ones you aggravate during your battle. Too funny
A useful tip is that trading with villagers will give you much more experience without the risk of death. I hope to see the next video. ps are you paramore?
I know it really drove me buggy when I first started playing Minecraft... which was Version 1.5. Not sure if it was 1.5.1... or 1.5.2. All I know is that it had Villagers, Cows, Pigs, Sheep, Chickens, and Cats.... along with Spiders, Skeletons, Zombies, Endermen, Pigmen, and the Ender Dragon. Not sure if it had Horses or not? Anyways, I rage quit a bunch of times, sometimes not playing again for MONTHS. I started watching Minecraft vids on TH-cam, because as much as I enjoyed it... it also drove me NUTS. I mean... we get stranded in a strange new world...and have no idea how to survive... or what to expect... creature-wise. AND NO INSTRUCTIONS WHAT-SO-EVER. GADS! If I hadn't watched those vids on TH-cam, I probably would've given the whole game up. BUT... the vids were Fun... and Informative. Way better than me Googling stuff all the time. Argh! Anyways... don't give up, but maybe take some time off from Minecraft for a little while. Give yourself a chance to relax... clear your mind... and breathe. Also, there's no shame in asking your family and friends for help and advice... especially in the wide... wonderous... and at times... nerve-wracking world of Minecraft. Wish I could say more or suggest certain Minecrafting folks for you to scope out... because most of the Minecraft folks out there are real hoots... not to mention awesome builders and battlers. You've really been doing an Amazing job... way better than I did starting off. And no... even after all these years... I'm still nowheres near the levels of most folks are out there. I'm just glad that I didn't give up playing.... and I hope that you don't give up either. Just remember to take your time, and just enjoy the game. I know... easier said than done. ;p ~ BTW.... sorry about all my rambling. D'oh!
No matter how you look like Rhinoa from final fantasy 8 you are no witch... just a clumsy girl with a beautyfull face... nether wards are found only in nether forteresses... (structures with tons of black tall wither skeletons with swords... and not into nether bastions filled with piglins brutes...)... ... ...
Rage is all part of the Minecraft experience.
How right you are my friend!
I min rage by building safety tunnels for all frequently traveled areas. But that would make boring vids so I don't recommend it for ytbers.
Nether wart is difficult to get but once you have it, you can farm it at home and never run out or find it again
Phantoms spawn after not sleeping for a few nights or dying
After 10 years of playing Minecraft I still to this day don't understand and don't do potions 😂😅
This might have been from 1 year ago, but i am absolutely loving your series. :)
Thanks for keeping things real.
When you sleep unseat your cat, it will bring a 'present' each night. there is a rare chance it could be a phantom membrane (used for potion of slow falling).
But won’t it just follow me inside then?
@ItsBreePlays yes it will, and the going to sleep animation frequently has the sleep on the player. When you get up, you can put it back outside again. Can always bring another cat home, they should be spawning in the iron farm (and burning with the golems). With 2 cats can breed more by feeding them fish keep one by your bed.
I've binged your let's play over the last couple days and am sad that Im now caught up and have to wait! After watching you die soooo many times I am impressed with your perseverance. The pain of the learning process is can be so painful. You're a pleasure to watch!
Awe thank you ❤️ I’m glad you’ve enjoyed the series so far!
I have not gone to the deep dark or have fought a wither (ne no, just no, hells no)
My first rage quit was when I couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t enchant. Long time for me ;)
@@claratenzs those two months you spent working towards your first Netherite set is what MC is ALL about to me. Good work, my dude!
@@pencilquest9409 yes! Me to. I’ve learned it’s a slow burn game, at least for me.
Netherwarts are rare, but if you go to a fortress there's usually a small netherwarts farm there by the stairs.
“F*** you skeleton”
She’s becoming a true Minecraft player 😂
You prob know it by now, but wart is in certain parts of the nether fortress and membranes drop at night from flying illusions called phantoms
lol, this is definitely something we all go through.
Netherwart is in the nether fortresses ( the brick looking structures) at the bottom of stair cases usually
6:18
Potion brewing is a multi step process.
The fact that the fortress was in your line of sight is… so frustrating 😭
I hate to say it but this is one of the best episodes yet simply because of the frustration at the end XD::::::: ItsBreeplays minecraft experience is truly the gift that keeps on giving
Your channel deserve more subscribers such underrated funny and cute gameplay 😅 and the editing
Netherwart in nether fortress and to get membrane you cannot sleep for 3 days and fight the phantoms at night
You don't need a potion to kill an ender dragon. But an enchanted bow will be very useful.
😊 hi Bree, love your minecraft video’s. Keep it up.
Just a few lifesaving tips😅 or battle training to do :
1. when fighting mobs do Not click continuously (it weakens your hits), just one click (mob will be hit slightly to the back)... then click again (when mob moves back towards you)
2. if you jump and hit a mob with sword or axe while falling back to the ground,
you have a chance to hit with a critical hit (more damage)
3. learn to block with your shield 🛡 (you cannot block and attack at the same time though)
this can deflect so many attacks like arrows, kreeper blasts, etc.
Hey bree, I thought I'd offer you some important tips:
-Try bringing a Bow & Arrows to the Nether.
Did she just walk past the nether warts
…where? 🥲🥲🥲
Ok. Enough people would have said this but, in a few lines(maybe), here are the points to take:
- You need to get and grow Nether Warts(found in NETHER Fortresses, grown on "Soul sand")so you have it in excess.
- For the point above to work, you need good armor AKA enchanted iron/diamond/✨netherite✨ armor
- For easy armor, look into trading with villagers.
This was the top! Loved this episode.
i can barely make potions let alone a cooked stew in skyrim... this is a whole other level of concoctions making lol keep it up!
Potions are hard, I used to always forget the recipes, so here's some tips:
Nether Wart is basically a potion initiator, you need it for almost every potion.
You forgot about fermented spider eyes to invert the potion effect
Also for undead creatures like zombies and skeletons the effects of healing and harming potions are reversed
And potion of weakness can be brewed without netherwart
(16:23) sus bree 😂
whatever article you read skipped a very important detail about nether wart. It spawns on soul sand in nether fortresses. It does not spawn naturally in the soul sand valley.
1. I'm pretty sure you can un-craft nether wart blocks just by placing them into the crafting menu
2. Phantoms spawn if you don't sleep & don't die for 3 nights straight
Nope, sorry. I've tried. Nether wart blocks can be crafted from Nether Wart, but they can't be turned back into usable Nether Wart. It's dumb, I know.
@@randomphantom3976 Oops. My bad!
I’ve played over 5 years and I’ve never made potions, I either have my friend do it for me or I hope to get some as loot from chest.
I’d also want to say that building safe ones in the nether tend to help.
You can only find nether warts in the fortress
Nether wart used to be real easy to find, but now I think you can only find it in nether fortresses. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
you find nether wart at the fortres
idk if your joking about netherite but theyer is a wiki you should look at it a bit alot of other players do that so they can get a feel of a pro minecraft player
You also can probably get netherwart from the block using the crafting table
Feather falling? That's a first, most people use MLG water bucket XD Some of those things included just make no sense. You wouldn't even need them (even as a noob I never used an Iron Shovel in any part of the boss fight lol). Anyways I'm excited for another episode of this! You only need Nether Warts for potions (most potions that are useful at least). As for Phantoms, they show up if you haven't slept in 3 days.
Also totally get the rage quit XD
I didn't even notice the shovel thing, there's not even any shovel materials in the end XD.
@@randomphantom3976 Only thing you could *potentially* need it for is if you're using dirt, sand or gravel to tower up. Can't remember the last time I did it or seen somebody do that though lol

tip:-mine so many golds ,trade that with pigling they will give you fire resistant potions..keep 3-4 of them with you...then you can ride on a strider to walk on the lava that way you'll find the fortress quickly,,you can find nether wart only in fortress...as soon as you get near it..note down the cords so you can come back there later...keep some arrows and a bow to deal with ghast..or you can just ignore them if you learn to avoid their attacks...
You DO NOT need diamond armor. Iron will be fine. A bow and a bucket of water. As well as a couple stacks of arrows
Your google search results are really misleading, here's a bit of actual information:
phantoms appear if you don't sleep for three nights (you mustn't die in that time period)
netherwart does grow on soulsand but you can only find it in the nether fortress.
also to help with your anxiety around enderman:
you are good as long as you don't look directly in their eyes, it is a really narrow part of their hitbox which is easy to prevent looking at once you know this information.
(you can change game modes with F3+F4 in creative worlds)
I hope you see and read through this, it will help a lot imo.
Here are some pointers to help you next time:
Phantoms appear when you haven't slept for 3 nights or more.
If you want to do another reaction video I would suggest reacting to Docm77 world eater machine he made in Minecraft
You should watch video tutorials on how to make potions in Minecraft.
Why would enderman be in the..."end"? Lol
Keep up the good work homegirl!
You need more XP to enchant. And yes, when you die you lose most of your XP.
@@CountryRoses I was referring to the fact that when you die, you lose most of it because you can go back to pick up your items, including a few of the xp. I play on Bedrock, so maybe Java is different.
Liked your editing
I'm glad I'm not the only one with an acute hatred for the Nether
Also Nether wart is found in Nether fortresses, growing on either side of a staircase
Yet another epic episode
Too funny
is this not in the recipe book?
A useful tip is that trading with villagers will give you much more experience without the risk of death. I hope to see the next video.
ps are you paramore?
I am paramore
Also if your enjoyment of Minecraft is waning I would try playing with a friend or on a server
It’s not lol it was just trying to figure out how to make potions without looking too into how was frustrating lol I still love Minecraft ❤️
Use your 🛡️ 😊😊😊😊😊
I know it really drove me buggy when I first started playing Minecraft... which was Version 1.5. I know... easier said than done. ;p
~ BTW.... sorry about all my rambling. D'oh!

No matter how you look like Rhinoa from final fantasy 8 you are no witch... just a clumsy girl with a beautyfull face... nether wards are found only in nether forteresses... (structures with tons of black tall wither skeletons with swords... and not into nether bastions filled with piglins brutes...)... ... ...
Notfication gang!!!
