Out of a half dozen videos on TH-cam about this procedure, this one was, by far, the best and most helpful. No help from US posts and the ones out of the UK are less than 3 minutes and leave a lot of information out. Thanks. Great instructional video.

Does the short shaft need to be pressed back into the bearing the smaller case side? Need help after removing my smaller case. My short shaft didn’t want to install back on to the motor.
@@JonahNAloha hello sir, no need to press it back, just make sure everything is put back correctly

Thanks for this video, really insightful. Could you please add the code for the products used for the replacement?
hello, thank you very much for the feedback. As for the products part numbers, please accept my apologize but it's quite difficult for me to do this since it's been a while from this video recording and I don't keep yet a database. I can recommend though, to use the VIN number of your vehicle when ordering the materials, this way you eliminate/lower the chances of ordering something that doesn't match with your car. Peace
nice bro going to do this next week thanks for the video
Excelent, wish you good luck and easy tightened bolts!

How do I remove the camshaft gear
@@dembeherbert2563 hello hello, honestly, I didn't do that in this project. But I recomend to get Honda NSS250 Service manual and check there for the unmounting procedure
J aime travail avec vous
Amazing transformation !!! ❤👏👏
Do you need a torque wrench to tighten the bolt after adjusting the chain?
hello hello, at the beginning it would be good to read the torque spec for each bolt/nut from your bike owners manual and use a torque wrench. Of course after some practice you will be able to tighten bolts and nuts using your "feeling" but I would always recommend using a torque wrench to avoid over tightening or worse, a disaster caused by untightened bolts/nuts. For the rear wheel nut, you usually want to have somewhere around 95-115 Nm of torque
Well done, thanks.

Great video bro thanks a lot! I was under the impression though that you had to loosen the nuts on both sides of the axle?
@@auntyclockwise3771 yoyo thanks for the feedback. There is a shaft with a nut holding the rear wheel, so releasing the nut is suficient to adjust the chain tension

@@auntyclockwise3771 also reading the owners manual will be a huge help for you. Great bike the Suzuki! Dried roads and easy to open bolts. Peace
you do not need to dismantle the e-brake. the best is to use a 9 volt battery. then you can screw it back without the risk of stripping the heads. conect two wires to the 9 volt battery and tput the wires on the conector of the e-brake. after you finished change the polarity and run the pistons back
@@norwegiandude8709 thank you very much for this idea!! Really apreciate it and will try it for sure next time. Peace
@thecurlyfixingguy7077 it's absolutely the way to go. I don't know the climate where you live but here it's to big a risk to start dismantling the e brake. Thus it's easier to just use a 9 volt battery as it has enough power for the job. For wires I bougth the cheapest smoke detector I could find and pulled out the battery pad so that it fits snugly on the battery and I don't need to worry about the wires coming loose. Ofcourse the best is to use vdash or vida with dice or something similar. I was lucky and got a good deal on a dice unit so i only use that now
@@norwegiandude8709 thank you very much for your valuable input again 🤘you rock. Keep up with good mechanics procedures ✌️
Hi, do you know what mean this message on the tachometer?: "STOP contact AAN". The car is from Belgium, the message is in netherland language
@@pawel3272 hmmm to be honest, I have no clue :(
It means: STOP ignition ON
Hi, when you did this job the engine idle smooth after? I ask because I have seen videos where the oil sump must be removed to adjust the balancing shafts to have a smooth idling. Thanks
@@dominichernandez8087 hey hey Dominic, I also saw that the balancing shafts of the oil sump need to be in sync as well but luckly mine works fine. I intend anyways to rebuild the engine completly soon, therefore I prefered to jump that step and see what's happening. So far so good
@@thecurlyfixingguy7077Thanks for your answer. I have another question, when applying torque to the crankshaft bolt, did you have the locking pin inserted? I ask because I have read that it cannot resist much torque or it will break. Thanks again!
@@dominichernandez8087 yes sir, otherwise you'll rotate your crankshaft. Basically I let the blocking pin inserted from begging all the way till the end before I did the final 2 complete rotations and made sure it goes back in its place easily, this way confirming the alignment of the timing
@@thecurlyfixingguy7077 Thanks for your answer! I would like to ask you something about fuel efficiency (If you happen to know), I have already replaced spark plugs (NGK), replaced the air filter, cleaned fuel injectors, cleaned MAF sensor and I'm getting about 6km/L, my car is a 320i and there is definitely something failing. I also don't have oxygen sensor related errors to believe something is wrong with them. Would you know if there is something else I would have to check?
@@dominichernandez8087 oooououou, 6km/L that would be aprox 16 L/100km... That's huge, I have 10km/L and mine is a 1.8. what about the engine power? Is all ok when hitting that throttle pedal? I only have in mind the fuel filter (that you didn't mentioned replacing). Other than that I would recommend a diagnosis for deeper look into cars performance :-? But let us know if the fuel filter was the issue (but this would affect dramatically the performance of the car)
SUPER imi va fi de mare ajutor pe viitor

Hi guy I have 2019 NSS250AK honda with overtemperature issues till continuosly red lamp light coming on but engine is running and thermostat, cooling fan, cooling liquid propeller works fine what shall I look for it. I was drove the motor high speeds for a couple hours recently after this have this problem increasingly getting high temperatures in period of time, finally very quick reaches the red warning temp light now. What could be done where shall I look or check now if you can help me very appreciated, greatings from Turkey.
Hello, if the coolant level is ok and you don't have air in the cooling system, I would first check engine oil level and age (how old is the oil) & make sure the oil pump works properly; then I would think about running too lean mixture (too much air thru the carburetor) but this should also influence the engine behavior when running it - this can be checked by looking at your spark plug color ( A spark plug that is running too lean will have a light tan or grayish color). Hmmm, my brain at 6:46 am stops here. Let me know if any of the suggestions helped and if not, let's find out somehow together. Keeping my fingers crossed for you
@@thecurlyfixingguy7077 thank you very much for your answer.

Pfff, to be honest, I can't tell
If I don’t put the e-handbrake on will I still need to disconnect the electric motor for the handbrake?
Yes sir, so you can screw back in the hand brake shaft and then be able to press the calliper piston inside
yes and no. you can run it back with a 9colt battery. if not you have to dismantle it
Salut . Îmi place videoul tău , m-am uitat în mai multe videouri și am văzut că mai e un blocator care vine în baia de ulei ,mai e nevoie de el sau se poate fără. 🤝

Do you need to remove the right panel in order to remove the left panel, or can the left panel be removed by itself? I need to remove my left panel to repaint my stator cover (left side) and don't want to remove both side panels if it isn't necessary.

Yes, that's a bit tricky. From my point of view you should try wiggle the civer while putting it back. Be patient and make sure everything is well seated before you tight the bolts
@@thecurlyfixingguy7077 thank you, I actually found a new trick, I basically removed the wipers and the covers around the wiper arm controller as if I want to replace it, it gave a lot of space and just made everything so much easier, if only I had figured out this trick long ago, fitting this gasket would be an hour job from start to end 😆
