you do not need to dismantle the e-brake. the best is to use a 9 volt battery. then you can screw it back without the risk of stripping the heads. conect two wires to the 9 volt battery and tput the wires on the conector of the e-brake. after you finished change the polarity and run the pistons back
@thecurlyfixingguy7077 it's absolutely the way to go. I don't know the climate where you live but here it's to big a risk to start dismantling the e brake. Thus it's easier to just use a 9 volt battery as it has enough power for the job. For wires I bougth the cheapest smoke detector I could find and pulled out the battery pad so that it fits snugly on the battery and I don't need to worry about the wires coming loose. Ofcourse the best is to use vdash or vida with dice or something similar. I was lucky and got a good deal on a dice unit so i only use that now
this video is very good and explicit, and congratulations for the quality of the filming. And I, in particular, thank you
Bravo majstore, svaka ti cast! Odličan video.

@@norwegiandude8709 thank you very much for your valuable input again 🤘you rock. Keep up with good mechanics procedures ✌️
If I don’t put the e-handbrake on will I still need to disconnect the electric motor for the handbrake?
Yes sir, so you can screw back in the hand brake shaft and then be able to press the calliper piston inside
yes and no. you can run it back with a 9colt battery. if not you have to dismantle it
