The Autumn class cruiser entered service shortly after the conclusion of the Human-Covenant war, using the old Halycon class cruiser as a basis for its design with wartime improvements and new technologies developed during the conflict from both forerunner and Covenant sources. The class is meant to serve as the new mainstay mid sized ship for the UNSC in the post war.
