Are you using a pump from the rdf to pump the water up the feed pipe to the lower bakki holding tank? I notice you rdf is level with the pond? Cheers Cheers
@@sweeyong7756 yes, this is how it was originally set up. I now only have a pump on the front spray bar and the rdf feeds straight up to the back spray bar instead of the bottom tank 👍
@@thekoichannel264 cheers mate. Is there a particular reason why you could not have gravity feed the water from the rdf to the bakki? I mean luck dug underground to connect pipe from rdf to the bakki?
@@sweeyong7756 gravity feed to the spray bars or the bottom tray? I assume you mean the tray?
@@thekoichannel264 sorry i created any confusion. I meant to say the water from the rdf being fed by gravity to the two pumps supplying the spray bar on the top tray.

Orite mate looking forward to the new content. What's the koi in your pond that almost looks blue I've never seen one. My 3 year old son went and picked his first 2 koi today he's 3 years old and he hand picked a gin rin ochiba and a orenji ogon he must have a good eye 😂 hopefully I'll be able to build my dream koi pond like yours eventually 👍

I think that you will be extremely upset to know l kept Koi in my garden nearly 50 years ago, no filter, no heat, do disease, no youtube vlog either.

You mentioned previously that you fed your garden plants pond water... does your waste run into a sunken storage container that you use a sump connected to a hosepipe to water your plants, then, or do you have another method? Would be interested to know. Thanks.
The waste goes into a drain, run off into a soak away. But I was feeding the plants water straight from the pond 👍

I am currently own a basic pond which is in-ground the previous house owners mantience wasn't that great so we are planning to do some work such as adding a layer of bricks around the edge
