This will set your followers up for metabolic bone disease as calcium and other required supplements are essential. The supplement Herptivite is a reptile supplement. Amphibians cannot utilize beta carotene, retinol is required. A single dose of vitamin A is likely to contribute to STS as it's a required supplement. Sorry to be harsh but you're casting an image of an authority figure and have no clue what you're talking about.

I have the same enclosure. I am in the process of setting it up. Can you tell me how far to hang the uva uvb light. Is it okay to lay it right on the enclosure. I bought a 5.0 light. Does the box turtle get enough uva uvb rays when she is under the hide most of the day?
