Glad to have seen your video. I was considering an MSC cruise but no longer after seeing your video. I am a priority customer of Carnival and was looking for a change but did not like some of the things that you described. Thank you for your information.

I have been on 50 cruises, on almost all the majors and to me MSC is fine. I have seen Carnival crew sun bathing topless on the crew pool area and I just don't care. You are complaining about loud music on a cruise ship, that is truly funny.. I agree the green carpet is weird, haven't seen that on any MSC cruises I have been on yet but clearly they have it. Its a Swiss / Italian company so yes things are different. I have not seen stains on furniture on any MSC cruise so hopefully your video will get the crew on the ship you went on to do their jobs better. The free stuff is never really free, the free Kleenex etc. is not really free, there is a reason why Royal Caribbean has the highest prices in the industry but there you can have your free Kleenex. I just got off of an MSC cruise this weekend and you are flat wrong about there not being evening turn down service, we had it every night of the cruise - and we have had it on every MSC cruise we have ever been on. If you purchase the drink package then the sparkling water is free, you opted for the cheapest cruise fare and they do not include it. You cant get free sparkling water on Royal or Carnival either unless you have a drink package.

I just went thru that with my phone too. I wrote a letter to Geneva about this, it really upset me but I defeated their silly little system by spoofing my phones MAC address on my laptop, took 2 minutes to do without any need to see the IT people.

Any cruise beginning and ending in the US should have a strict no smoking in interior spaces policy! Meaning NO smoking in the entire casino!

How much do you have to spend or play at the casino to get the kind of perks you are getting?

I chose to take a world cruise out of Sydney, AU for the sole reason that there is no indoor smoking allowed on cruises out of Australia. Churchills is a quiet smoke-free reading room! I’ve been on Coral Princess for 140 days now and it is glorious. The casino is small-its staff are like a second family. And there is no smoke.

Can australians earn come back and sail offers when they are on overseas itineraries?

I hear you brother, it can be a smokers' world in these ship casinos. A major peeve of mine is getting that ash tray odor into my wardrobe. To keep to a minimum, I dedicate two shirts per sailing for gambling only, and change into them if visiting casino.

We need 100% smoking!!!

And….. I am not sure how many true Broadway shows you have seen…but these shows are far from Broadway quality. You have to remember. Princess is an older crowd…lol nightlife ends early. You need to research before going

Basically I just cruise with Princess. But they really need to up their game on the game shows and entertainment. Pretty much the exact same, cruise after cruise. And Princess is trying to attract a younger clientele….which also means “noisier” and less respectful people. But are starting to ignore their faithful followers. Not a good move.

Certainly better than on the Enchanted and Sky. Annoying that Princess Princess went away from this compromise on the Royal class to more and more smoking.

Looks huge! I was recently on the Island Princess, I knew it was a small ship but was surprised to see that the casino was so limited.

I chose a world cruise on a Princess ship out of Australia because cruises out of Australia allow no inside smoking whatsover. 144 smoke-free days-and I visited the casino nearly every day it was open. It was glorious! Sadly, CBS offers on Australian cruises do NOT include comped cabins, only FP that must be used on Australian cruises. I got 4 certificates under my door that totaled nearly $4K, none of which I can use. I won 22 jackpots totaling $88k onboard. And will not be surprised if my total coin-in and table play is $150K or more. We’ll see if that level of play translates to any interesting email offers.

I can't see why I would put up with all that. But I stopped gambling when I retired (used to play video poker in Vegas quite a bit and got quite a few comps for that play, including my first cruise on a Princess ship.) I'm just not interested in it any longer. After a while it became monotonous.

You are 100% correct about the customer service with the casino department. What a mess. On the flip side I have a Princess Cruise Planner that is amazing. She knows the casino program and even goes out of her way to call me before and after my casino cruise to make sure all is well. She also always responds to my email with 24hrs. I highly recommend getting your own Planner and never call the Casino line. Looking forward to you take on the Sun Princess Casino. Do you have a walkthrough video?

You should cruise Virgin... no children and the entire ship is luxurious. I love NCL and love the Haven, too bad it wasn't enjoyable for you.

I'm always so glad to hear I'm not the only one having issues with my Come Back offers...missing onboard credits, expiring bookings, etc. I truly wish the offer levels weren't so mysterious. I often travel with a friend who gets much better offers and we both have nearly the same point levels on each cruise. Thanks for your continued updates.

Cruise ship casino atmosphere is toxic. We avoid.

The Princess casino rewards program may be good but their smoking policy is horrible. Casino rewards is an incentive for a small group looking for "free" cruises. An aggressive pro-smoking harms Princess with so many more paying customers. This is a bad business strategy. Their fix, destroying the Take5 venue by putting in a few crummy slot machines but no staff is a joke.

Wow, we have been so excited for our first transatlantic cruise on Caribbean Princess Nov. 2024, but this sounds a bit concerning. The food, drinks and service need to be up to Princess standards, or we will be disappointed. We can entertain ourselves, but there is no excuse for poor food and service. This will be our third cruise aboard Caribbean Princess, but it has been a few years since we've seen her as we've been travelling on other Princess ships. Thank you for your video.

Is that 15 drinks for the whole trip or 15 drinks per day with the premium packages?

Came back from Alaska cruise in July-Aug and everything was great 👍 no issues no lines in any port including Vancouver first and last day

We just sailed Majestic a week ago to Alaska and brought up the theatre exit on deck six where you have to go through the casino on our after cruise survey. It was all smoking and we smelled like an ash tray if we walked through it. So to exit on deck six you either have to walk up to deck 7, travel to the midship stairs and then go back down to deck 6 or IF the VIP section of the casino on the port side is not in operation you can go that way but its a definite hit or miss operation. Also our Piazza experience was different than yours so they go the message because it had events way into the night and one afternoon had the puppies onboard at Skagway and they were adorable.

Very interesting! We have been on over 28 Princess cruises and were really looking forward to the Sun in March but do to circumstances we had to cancel and now I'm not so sad. Thanks for all your content! and PS I hear they are eliminating the jazz club on the RC ships and making it a NS casino area.
