I love Miyazaki, but if we put bias aside, ATSV was the better movie. TBATH is great, but not even in the top 10 Ghibli movies imo. Visually, ATSV was unique and groundbreaking. In terms of story, TBATH isn't really consistent, but ATSV had a better plot, even though it's unfinished. In terms of characters ATSV had better ones and they were really well-written. ATSV had incredible emotional scenes and dialogues as well. Remember, I'm not saying TBATH didn't have great characters or emotional scenes, I'm just saying ATSV was superior. Let's be honest. Put bias aside. Miyazaki had better films than TBATH which lost to way, way, way worse films than ATSV, the only reason he won it this year was because the voters were worried they wouldn't have another chance of honouring him. It was an emotional decision. But ATSV was a better movie. Note: this is subjective, i respect your opinion if you disagree, after all, the whole point of this video was to make discussions as the creator pointed out in the comments.

I finished episode 1000 a week ago and now see it as having ONLY 100 episodes left. I care so much about this series and I don't want it to ever end. the idea of waiting week after week just to see new episodes is torture. One Piece feels like an old friend that I can not see for months and then meet back up with to have hours of conversation and fun. like there never was a gap in our meetings. PLEASE give it a go, at least until the end of episode 43

The differences you mentioned are due to the genres being different and things that Spiderman wasn't aiming for in general. It's like if I say Spiderman should have won because it had better fight scenes and it was more exciting overall. If the only important factor is emotions then action animated movies will never win any awards. Good video though. I enjoyed it.

In my opinion is all about emotion. Spider man cant pull as much emotion as Boy and the heron.

For me, what makes The boy and the Heron “””better””” (cuz I absolutely LOVE Spider-verse as well) is the fact that the emotions that the movie conveys are more complex. Watching Spider-verse, sad moments are obviously sad, happy moments are happy, and so on. The Boy and the Heron conveys mix of feelings that are so hard to describe and understand, nothing is too obvious.

I like your video. I think the premise is very cool. Editing was solid. Voiceover was fine. However, you’ve grossly misunderstood both characters, omit details and even then really fail to prove your thesis.

I know the final saga of one piece is gonna come out soon and stuff, but can we at least admire how far Luffy has come since season one. I mean bro gathered the most powerful crew ever, defeated some of the most dangerous monsters, bounty hunters, and villains of the seven seas, even managed to master all 5 gears. But for how far bro has come on his journey, I’m surprised bro ain’t king of the pirates already.

I started one piece in primary school when I still didn't have much access to technology, so it was literally little me in the manga section of the library slowly reading available volumes and over the course of years slowly filling in gaps of knowledge of the story and catching up to the newest volumes by reading any new unread volumes I saw each time I visited the library. I think I stopped around the time Sanji's biological family was revealed (the big mom arc?). Picking it up again 8 years later at the end of my first year of university, it feels so different. I decided to watch the anime this time, starting from the very beginning so I could refresh and relive those memories again. I can't wait to catch up on all the new developments, and see the ending probably around the time I finish uni and get my first job ❤
