The legion correctly identifies the political world of the wasteland. The material conditions of the wastes are simply not high enough to guarantee a liberal democracy. You cannot just insert the USA government into the equivalent of the dark ages and expect it to work well. You have to match the government within the material conditions, and if you do that, you can slowly advance to higher stages of production.

Companion Suite was actually intended to give companions a 33% DR rather than 50%, and bug fix mods tend to give it that 33% reduction. Companion suite also reduces your companions damage by 25% though so they aren’t too OP. Fun Fact: If you play with Jsawyer, then companion suite actually reduces your companions damage by a whopping 75%! They only do 1/4th their normal damage, so don’t expect them to kill much. Fun Fact 2: Companion Nerve is broken even with bug fix mods. It increases companion damage by 5% per point in charisma, but it gives them no extra DT. That part is broken.

Here's a tip for Honest Hearts and Dead Money. In Honest Hearts you can store your loot in the duffel bags near the beginning where you start out and Dead Money you can store loot in the trash can near the entrance. They do not despawn and have changed the way I play them forever.

compliance regulator is good but a LAER just kills your enemy with crits instead of stuns. also try playing on jsawyer hardcore for a better challenge. also the fatman is balanced in hardcore because of the carry weight. cool video tho

these don't seem all that op to be honest with you they have some cons + its a class building game obviously weapons made for your class will be good

the game is pretty easy even on hardcore one trick is just using the m79 thumper with every spec towards reloading you can basically fire automatically its pretty crazy

Gun runners is my go to grinding spot. They dont count as a faction so there's no consequences for killing the guards.

A power fist with practically zero cooldown? Sure. A gun that can literally call in space lasers after finishing That Lucky Old Sun? Meh. Edit: Greased Lightning can be obtained by just progressing the Brotherhood quest. The Poseidon Energy gun that can call in Archimedes can be bought for 1000 caps or pickpocketed off of a child in Freeside. Very balanced.

Fallout 76 was made in 4 years yet the game was unplayable at launch. Talk about that shit instead. You say that that they forgot to add something maybe they didn’t have time. A weapon you can barely find ammo for has too much damage. Stop using console commands. It’s a game from 2010 that is still better than any other fallout game released after it.

I mean they made the 45 auto stronger simply because they wanted it to feel powerful when you got to it. Doesnt make alot of sense compared to other pistols but its the vibe man. Who wants to get a 1911 and have it automatically be less valuable

While obviously not the best, I gained a lot of appreciation for the regular plasma pistol in my recent playthroughs. It's pretty much always available straight from the start where you can buy it from Chet along with at least one of the mods for a surprisingly cheap price, plus energy cells are also quite plentiful, especially if you remember to recycle them every now and then. I don't remember the exact numbers, but you can easily make it dish out 30-50 damage per shot from level 1 (not to mention the crits), which is really good on its own AND allows you to easily deal with tankier enemies like giant radscorpions which you usually have to avoid in the beginning. Considering how it can be obtained immedietaly after leaving Doc Mitchell's house without any prior knowledge of the game, I honestly would say it deserves a honorable mention even if it loses to a lot of other guns in the long run.

From a lore standpoint I think House should've had more Securitrons for these combat tests. While there aren't actually that many active on the Strip or in the Lucky 38, I think that speaks to House's hubris - how he's so confident he can keep the Courier on his side with the right incentives. But as we can see with his ending at Hoover Dam, if the situation calls for it he can & will rapidly deploy Securitrons in overwhelming force, committing most if not all his troops to secure victory. They might be a smaller fighting force than the other major players but they never tire, never miss an order &, as seen whenever a Securitron initiates dialogue with you, they're freakishly fast. If post MK2 Mr. House for whatever reason wanted to enter open conflict & exterminate any of these factions, I think he's got a good chance of wearing them down with series of hit & run, Boulder City style shenanigans. I just think the ability to communicate orders instantaneously & adapt to changing battlefield conditions on the fly is too strong for the comparatively ragtag armies of the NCR & Legion, who'd be outmaneuvered & ambushed at every turn.
