if you cant connect your drone controller to your pc, (i cant because of the controller type being an older model, not able to connect to my PC) you can actually use a XBOX controller, and most of the drone games will optimize it to be as close to a drone controller experience!

I have removed the back handle from the controller, and it feels much more compact, tbh. I want to buy a radiomaster's foldable handle with the AG01 gimballs.

Who the hell is gaming on M2 MacBook?!!😮Masochists only...Regarding the TRYP, this guy spits on it but he probably doesn't know it is still Beta, so no wonder it has bugs and flaws!!! This wasn't mentioned at all...but it has the best physics of all simulators and it behaves very close to the real dron of all simulators I tested, the only competitor to it is VelociDrone and creators actually focusing on the physics very carefully, it is even using Betaflight PID loop 😉 But as it is still Beta, there is a lot of unfinished things, which is understandable...

Great review & appreciate the neutral/non-sponsored aspect! Having bought the setup myself - I fully agree, the compability factor is surprising and pretty greedy. Rather surprising too considering they have more or less taken everything else they do in regards to marketing and not the least packaging, from Apple -> that do a lot to make sure everything in their eco-system is extremely compatible and intuitive...

Let me correct you, “if your battery is puffy” take it outside immediately and dump it in a bucket of water with a wet rag over the top, leave it there overnight away from any flammable objects (preferably in your driveway just in case there is a fire or it gets out of hand so others can see it). “If your battery gets hot while charging” either turn down the amperage but if it’s already lower than 1.5 Amps, (on most lipos) dispose of it immediately at the closest battery disposal if your lipo has any of the other signs mentioned in this vid. A lot of these videos fear monger beginners but if you take all the right steps your batteries can last for years and you won’t have to worry about it catching fire at all. Unless any of these signs have popped up and you have good habits you only need to check resistance bi-monthly if you want to be extra safe. Personally I have never checked resistance in the 3 years I have owned LIPOs but it’s definitely a good habit to get into for newer people. And YES ALWAYS CHECK AFTER CRASHING PLEASE!!!

I have started with Uncrashed and then went to Liftoff, and my question is how big of a difference are those with DRL and Velocidrone in terms of physics and skills transfer? Velocidrone with it’s packs is so expensive, especially considering that Liftoff is like 8$ in my region.

Probably getting this at some point. I was actually in the middle of the checkout process on the dji site when I backed out. The reason? I found this fantastic 3 battery version price on google shopping from DJI, go in there, sure 999, which is a great deal! Start checking out, then I realize it thinks I am in Singapore, where they apparently sell this for 200 less (it was still USD). Once I set my address to the US, it jumped up in price. At that point the disappointment was enough that I didn't bother.

Hi can iu help?...i set up my Dji Remote RC2 with Uncrashed but when i push the throttle it went up but then go on reverse the whole time..how can i set it up to not go in backwards movements

What version of TRYP FPV were you using? the game has had a huge amount of updates and things are much different, you should update this review after updating to the newest version I think. Also not dissin, but get a real PC

It took me a few weeks to get the tiny soldering down; I’m an auto mechanic by trade; therefore, I know how to use a soldering iron and read schematics. Once I solder tiny connections, building drones was a breeze. I don't let anyone mess with my drone builds or my vehicles. Being able to solder tiny connections and read schematics is the key to making a drone quickly.

Just started with TBS Tango II Pro and Velocidrone. Will probably pick up Liftoff as well. About a week in and the progress comes if you put in the time. General agreement across the community, as far as I could find, is that Velocidrone's physics is the closest to reality. As such, it is the best true simulator/learning sand box. The menus let you tune the sensitivity and angle limits and rates down to beginner levels and then ramp them up as you learn in Angle mode, and then move into Rate mode. Also, Velocidrone does extensive tutorials on their youtube channel; not just beginner how to but advanced maneuvers and techniques.

I used to think anyone could fly a DJI too, until I saw how many crashed ones are available on Ebay for "parts only". How do you crash one of those things?

Now backwards compability is added for older googles and controllers. Unfortunately you can only use the fpv controller 2 with the goggles 2 and integra. Goggles 3 + controller 2 doesn't work:(

I like your cheerful little video. My own progression went-sim only- (because I couldn’t afford a quad yet) then one cheap little quad -- tiny whoops. --learning to build my own bigger one. It’s been good, and I too think it was good to fly first before building. But the bridge has to be crossed, because unless you’re rich enough to pay for repairs, you gotta do it. Thankfully, it’s a relaxing part of the hobby, mostly. The most irritating part to me, is software.
