Right like I don't understand how anyone wants to live in a city or a suburb... just very wierd living that close to so many strangers. I only feel safe living in close proximity to family . I like privacy, freedom . Lived in same rural area all my life. Everyone had been here all my life. A couple families in neighborhood. Never had a robbery or any theif . Sleep with door unlock with ni worrie6. We have a store and a church in the community. Other than that you have to drive about 20 miles to the city. I've timed one of my buddies who live in the city and from him the meet up spot was 5 miles and I was 25 miles away and beat him there. Not as bad as you think

Another thing that sucks about Pittsburgh, and the whole state of Pennsylvania, are your stupid liquor laws. I went to a concert in Pittsburgh about a year ago. The show let out about 10pm and not only was nothing open, but it was impossible to buy some beer. I live in Columbus where most gas stations and small convenience stores sell beer and wine. Hell, we even have bars in laundromats and grocery stores here.

I’m looking at living on the west side of Pittsburgh: Carnegie, McKees Rocks, Moon Town, Imperial. Something in the North Fayette and Findlay Townships. Great video! I would also like to give some advice about traffic for the newcomers. Never rely on GPS, you won't get a signal in downtown. Sometimes, GPS can even show you the way against traffic! Also, if GPS tells you to turn left or right, you will have to choose in seconds, between 5 right or 4 left. The signs you will see most often are: "road works, single lane (shared), flagger ahead." Tunnels! Be very careful when entering and exiting the tunnels. Similarly, you will see 4-5 different right or left positions at the end of the tunnel, too. Keep it in your mind that there is no GPS signal throughout the tunnel. Don't drive in winter if you have wings. But, if you do, avoid using GPS, it will probably want you to drive on a frozen bridge or a steep road. You will pray that your vehicle does not roll over while climbing some amazing steep hills, but no worries, it will not, somehow! Deers! They can come out of anywhere, at any time, it doesn't matter if it's a highway or a city road. As soon as you arrive, you will notice dozens of dead deer, raccoons, or groundhogs on the side of the road, unfortunately. By the way, they're not afraid of human and the vehicles here anymore. There may be traffic in this city for no reason. It is just a matter of time to get used to it, relax! Being able to enter the tunnels is a great success, and being able to get out of it is a medal! After a tunnel, if you're able to shift your vehicle from far right or left (vice-versa) less than a hundred yards, on a 5-lane bridge, you're the king! I think the most appropriate traffic sign for Pittsburgh is: BE PREPARED TO STOP!

#7...very very interesting.. a lot of people don't realize Pittsburgh is a ticking time boom, its very probable in next 10 years, whith the emergence of super soak rain phenomenon happening in last 20 years, these new rain storms are unlike anything in recorded history, the atmospheric River storms are increasing in frequency 10 fold, the amount of rain in these storms is 10x worse than in past, Make no mistake, in next 10-15 years maybe much sooner, Pittsburgh will likely be the next Katrina, the level of destruction that a 10 inches of rain over a day or 2 could do is unimaginable for most people, and its very likely to happen sooner rather than later. The destruction a storm like this will cause will likely in many ways be worse than New Orleans in hurricane Katrina, most of downtown Pittsburgh will be destroyed, that is 100s billions in damage in downtown alone, the death toll could easily rival that of hurricane Katrina by far, land slides, Allegheny valley, Monongahela valley will be devastated beyond anything seen in the u.s. before, federal agencies did a study on what would happen if Pittsburgh got over 8 or 9 inches rain in less than 36 hours, and the results were terrifying say least, water could reach 8 or 9 stories in buildings downtown, all of downtown submerged causing devastation on a financial scale that will easily rival hurricane Katrina, deaths would easily be in the 1000s, so citizens of Pittsburgh, tell your representatives to make a emergency plan for this very likely scenario now because it can happen anytime, and the chances it doesn't happen in next 10 -15 years are much less than the chances it will happen, they want to scare us all with climate change TALK and scam us into electric vehicles before we're ready and the infrastructure is ready, But they can't pit together a plan of action for evacuation and mitigation now before the damage is done and millions of lives are horribly change forever, because Allegheny county is top 10 biggest metropolitan areas in country, and a mega disaster waiting to happen!
