Ganja White Night has become a premier act in the electronic bass music scene in recent years, but it took them quite a long time to get there, and they even came close to giving up at one point. Their rise to the top was far from explosive, rather they took the long but rewarding road of staying consistent to their unique sound, without trying to ride trends or generate hype. They’ve been able to steadily pickup new EDM and dubstep fans over time, gaining momentum with each passing year, and after doing this for the last 22 years, they’ve found themselves sitting among the top artists in bass music. Their list of incredible accolades is hard to beat, with feats such as headlining Lost Lands and Electric Forest, sets at EDC Las Vegas, Shambhala, and even selling out 3 nights in a row at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater. The Subcarbon Records founders have amassed a long list of heavy hitting collaborations, with other EDM legends like Subtronics, Boogie T, LSDREAM, Caspa, GRiZ, Liquid Stranger, Peekaboo, Slander, and Zeds Dead. They even throw their own flagship events regularly, such as Wobbleween, Wobble Coliseum, Ganja White Night & Budz, and Wobble NYE. In this video we’ll be reliving their long and not so glamorous journey, unveiling the lesser known parts of their career path, and how all of those things brought them to where they are today.

EDM SUPERGROUPS that DISAPPEARED

Forming a supergroup is a great way to expose each artist's fan base to new artists, and doing so usually generates hype. But for some reaso...

    For uniqueness i dont think anything tops the caverns place is just mental and for sound i havent heard anything more crisp then the coleseuim in hampton va. As for biased picks middle east in boston cause its the hometown nitty gritty, the amory in Minnesota cause the space and sound just goes hand in hand there and the bill graham in la because the view there is beautiful when the artist does a good set up

      I used to live in Nashville and had tickets to VOYD the first time he played at the caverns but I forgot I had a trip planned that weekend so I had to sell my ticket, then I moved a few months later so I've still never been to the caverns 😞 I'm going to see Porter Robinson and Pretty Lights at the Armory later this year so I'm excited for that, a lot of people have told me the Armory is great

    Could you share the viewing order for Mr. Wobble Saga? I can't find an accurate source!

    • @audioeats
      @audioeats วันที่ผ่านมา

      The Origins (the promo teaser vid for their Origins album), Chak Chel, Wobble Master, LFO Requiem, Dirty Girl, Narnia, Trinity, Shipwreck, Badman, Womp Portal, Dark Light/Infinity/Redemption/Kill to Feel/Billdozer, GWN's Wobble World. (The last 5 mentioned before GWN's Wobble World are visualizers, not full blown music videos, but in the GWN Wobble World video it explains the significance of them) I think that's technically the chronological order, but you can also watch them in the order they were released and the GWN's Wobble World video will tie them all together. It's kind of like deciding whether to watch Star Wars episodes 1-6 in order vs watching 4-6, then 1-3 if that makes sense lol. Also some of the other videos not mentioned above are sort of like side episodes, I don't think the order really matters for those. (Ease Your Mind, Mr Fix It, etc)

    God this channel is so bad. LabelgeElectrod was a formally educated audio engineer, and was the backbone of their early sound. When you say stuff like "media attention didn't get on them so little is known" it just shows you weren't on DSF/Myspace/AIM back in the day. All your videos end up super cringe because you clearly came into this hella late and you're trying to turn 10/15 years ago history into distant legends when it's not. Ask some people older than you questions.
