Philadelphia! 4 real. Deep City.
as someone who was has worked in a place of "pleasure" for over 3 years, i can only attribute it as allegorary for these special 'hotels'
“Peace and love” A time of drug abuse and stds
It’s about pre-Diddy tunnels
It’s about addiction, you can check out any time you want but you can never leave.. you can stop using, but you’ll always be an addict..
This is why music was way better back then. I still listen to mostly all these bands, I just wish it will continue to be listened to in the future.
Do Eminem "my darling " ♥️🙏
I Picture Hotel in THE CHANGELING … we are all just visitors here … USA LIFE ITSELF ..
They haven't had that spirit since 1969 the satanic church was founded in that same decade
I think the song is about Anton LaVey and colitas is dead grass i believe they were speaking about weed(Marijuana)
Loved every trip on acid.
who cares...
I had my share
Really enjoy these interpretations... I am hoping you will do "Running on Empty" by Jackson Browne
Thanks! So glad you're enjoying them! Jackson Browne "Running On Empty" is a GREAT song! I have a loooong list to get through, but I'm definitely adding it to it!
It sounds like the Diddy thing.
It’s one of those songs that captures a universal feeling so well that it’s hard to imagine a time when those words in that order sung to that melody did not exist.
Joe Walsh--"It's hard to leave when you can't find the door." And where else do we see mirrors on the ceiling but " Life in the Fast Lane," a little ditty about coke and the fast disco party life.
Awesome song, truly. I think it means exactly what you just described and I learned so much more about it for watching this--thanks (I think).
All I know is that at the age of 60. I just learned how to play White Rabbit on my guitar. And I cant get it out of my head!
Nicely put together. Now this is my opinion. I believe the song was written by a Demon that was released for this purpose. WHEN IT LOOKED TO THE WEST AND ITS SPIRIT IS CRYING FOR LEAVING. EGYPTIANS BURIED THEIR DEAD IN THE WEST. Also I thought this song was written in Alistair Crowley's House. And Plant said it was as if something was writing it. This is of course my opinion.
The lady could represent Our Lady, who is rich with Christ's suffering (gold), and the stores could be men's hearts: but the gold the lady has to spend comes from Our Lord's passion. (Not material but spiritual wealth.) If we begin seeing it in this way, then the piper, the lady, and the other one (I forget his name =].) become the Christ, the Holy Spirit, and Mary, the mother of Jesus. (our shadows taller than our souls) could elude to our sin. And to be a rock and not roll, could mean to not run from the cross of Christ. (where we get our gold.) And, "she's buying a stairway to heaven" could mean Mary is helping purchase our salvation from the foot of Christ's cross. Have a nice day.
This is a fairly delightful analysis. For further study, I suggest listening to Steely Dan's "Bodhisattva"
Plato explained a long time ago that poets have no idea what their songs are about
Great song and great video.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I believe that it could be about anything that one indulges in that they become consumed in... Perhaps addicted to.
So sad, a whole lot of human philosophy that means nothing and takes you nowhere. You truly want truth ? And wisdom ? You can't get there from here. Truth is only acquired with the help of God. Because only He transcends all.
Excellent job!!!
Thanks! Much appreciated!!
The answer is clear,in two words, the devil
Great job
Glad you enjoyed it! Much appreciated!
this world
Hugely successful song. Does nothing for me.
I have never been to CALIFORNIA ❤But ❤this song…👉Surasak Bangkok Thailand 🫡
Since I was a child, maybe 8 or 9, Grace has been my absolute favorite female singer. Nobody does it better.
I love her powerful voice, especially in the song 'somebody to love'
@Tamara-J27D18 Oh wow, that was my first 45 I bought with babysitting money. I absolutely agree on that. She is unbelievably powerful in that song. One of my favorite lifetime songs. Good memories and it's on my "best" playlist. Good call.
She is definitely up there for me, too! I can really only listen to Airplane and Starship songs she sings.
I, being quite a young girl, have always been fascinated by this song and it’s lyrics.
A Superhuman Angel(UP)/ Demon (Self+ False Copy ~Twin (DOWN) Our Shadow$(plural) taller than OUR Soul,(singular), Two opposing Spirits in an Avatar with ONLY One Soul as Payment for the Joyride in The FLESH, And That’s a TALL Soul Order, Imma tell you.
It's the part of the song that says "there's still time to change the road you're on" that when played backward says "here's to my sweet satan".
It’s a satanic song. Period.
My take on this song is, when they wrote it they were a bunch of satan worshiping drug addicts and none of them have any fkn idea what the song means!
LED ZEPPELIN STOLE STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN IT WAS a popular song with completely different style
The piper for me is Jesus . The Woman is the world. The two paths are the narrow path of Jesus and the wide easy path of the world
All I wanna know is how do you go from, White rabbit to we built this city? Airplane was great but starship was garbage..IMO
I think they had some good tunes - when Grace was taking lead vocal. Check out Ai Garimasu, Take Your Time, and Love Too Good.
Those are not the lyrics that I remember
The song is a piece of Art; open to infinite interpretation;. Not just the words alone but the creative composite of a band . It has meaning to any listener and why it is a great song!
Hell= hotel California
Perhaps it is just about the challenges of a love relationship in which self-love is lost?
When you die it's not what you thought
Was it not the smell of a clitoris
Somerset Belènoff is the lady
I always thought it was about a woman buying and useing drugs!!
Only Stairway to Heaven is through Yeshua, Jesus. John 1:51 Amen
