    Great job hun. Couple suggestions, have a rubbish bin in your room, no lid so you can chuck stuff in easily and maybe a plastic container for dishes so even on your worse days it all goes into one spot instead of staying on your bed. Then once you feel that works maybe start making sure dishes are put in the kitchen. Don't try to make bog changes just implement small things so you feel like you're getting somewhere. You've got this x

    I think I understand to a certain degree. I used to be scared of someone knowing my ‘true self’ especially when it came to a potential partner. I just prayed about it and started doing the some of the things you mentioned, like finding my style, hiking at parks and going off trail, I would swing at parks, I even went camping for the first time alone but at a camp event and discovered I love camping. I learned so much about myself and for the first time was entertained and really happy alone. All of sudden my Husband fell in my lap with all the signs lol. We had so many similar interests and hobbies it was insane. We went from dating to married in 8 months. I was 30 years old and never thought I’d be married or even in a healthy relationship! You got this girl! Keep discovering yourself and things will eventually work out. It always does ❤

    Fantastic regular speed declutter video again, I'm watching carefully now hoping you'll need to discard stuff I struglle to toss in the trash haha. I was hoping you'll dump what you've been able to get rid off in trash bags ready to be taken out as it's the most satisfying part for me of decluttering to take out all the trash like you've filmed at the beginning with the bags that were already there.

    Thank you so much for filming this one at normal speed, I was sad to see you've discarded so many things in the time lapse videos as I struggle so much to toss some stuff that I know you've probably discarded but that I could really see as it's just random things disappearing all over the place in those type of videos haha. I hope I'll see you discard any nicer paper clutter like fashion magazines, catalogues or even some clothes stores flyers or any old clothes that can't be donated as those are the things I struggle to toss. I loved when you've filmed while emptying the overflowing bathroom trash can in the bag of stuff you were decluttering so it makes it impossible afterwards to change your mind on things you're getting rid of. The same things with the things I struggle to see the being thrown along regular trash would be the best motivation as I often just put things I declutter in a clean bag that I leave in the garage forever 🤭

    I can recommend "a hoarder's heart". Watching her for years and she talks about her hoarding and how she process it and also the overlap with adhd and how she does things or organizes things so she can maintain it even with adhd. Also be gentle with yourself.

    Look into Executive Function problems. Many people have this without being a hoarder. It's a problem with how to initiate activity. People with ADHD can have it,but you can also have it without the ADHD. There are techniques and work arounds that can be learned to spur the initiation of tasks. In any case,I wish you well.

    Thank you for sharing. I have been struggling with the same issue. I have been moving boxes and containers full of things for years. The frugal part of me makes it so hard to get rid of things because I always think that I will have a need for them and don’t want to purchase again. #growinguppoor But I have finally come to that place where I feel ready to eat this elephant one bite at a time to clear my environment. I believe that less is more and it’s actually detrimental to my mental health to crowd my space with past energy. I need clarity asap. Let’s do this. Btw I love your screen name. ❤ from Houston, TX.

    Of all the videos I've watched, I was actually relieved to see someone with a room so similar to mine. It makes me feel like I'm not alone. I keep telling myself I'm going to clean the whole thing for real this time. My entire life, my biggest life problem has been my room. Something that would sound so ridiculous to someone else. Sometimes I'll start but I never finish. I'll either get tired or just won't know where to put certain things and give up. These videos seriously inspire me and I'm gonna try to tackle this room before the week begins. Thank you for sharing this... Seriously. If you have any advice please lmk 😭 I just want a workout space and not have to climb to get to the window. Keep being amazing!

    • @joybellpeppers
      @joybellpeppers หลายเดือนก่อน

      I really wish I had some advice to give you. The only thing I can say is take it one day at a time and don't beat yourself up for your struggles. I'm not speaking from experience in that one unfortunately, but maybe just set a small goal like clean your bed off or clean all the food trash out. Then take a break for a few days and then see what else you can do so you don't get overwhelmed or burnt out. But I get it and I agree it's nice knowing others deal with the same problems. It doesn't take away the stress or sadness but for a moment at least we can talk about it without feeling shame because at least we understand. Thanks for all the support and I hope this helped even just a little. It's just gonna take time and work but we will get there eventually :)

    • @mindart237
      @mindart237 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think any amount of cleaning is progress. You don't have to do your whole room in one go. If you have adhd you have to create little challenges like you do x amount of work or you have to do clean your room for 10 minutes(set a timer) and then you get a treat. If you struggle to start just focus on one area like your nightstand or one shelf or your bed. Every day another little area. If you have depression don't beat yourself up about it. As long as you keep trying it is progress. And you are allowed to have bad days and weeks.

    Not an expert but someone diagnosed with ADHD as an adult: I never see anything unless it’s changed. I had to teach myself certain habits or else I would be in constant chaos. Not seeing the mess is so relatable!
