I think for Chelsea’s center backs, the problem is that your two best center backs are Colwill and Fofana-two ball-playing center backs. If Maresca drops Fofana for Tosin, the defense would benefit greatly. You still have Colwill to bring the ball out from the back, but it you also get a more assured, physically imposing defender in Tosin. It’s just unfortunate for Fofana who I think has great potential.

Camavinga is the closest there is to playing the ball from defense into the midfield since Kroos. He is also by default good at making the defensive structure solid by forming a back 3 just like Toni Kroos.

Great video guys, I would not be surprised if villa actually break the top 3 this season, their squad is stacked. 2 good players in every position. Lets say Mcginn gets injured in comes Ramsey, lets say dinge gets injured in comes mattsen. Teilemens gets injured, in comes barkley, onana out in comes kamara, watkins suspended in comes duran. They are just stacked with very similar level ability players as a back up. I can see them doing well in cups for this reason too.

The first question you ask with Villa, is have they got better this season or are they going to become worse? With Villa, they haven't exactly been convincing with their wins, and yes, Emery is better in Europe manager but theyre squad is still light. Considering they struggled towards the end of last season. Also think that you would need 70+ points to get Top 4 this season. Villa cant manage that.

Utd at old trafford has been and will always be a difficult game for Liverpool. Its the fiercest rivalry in the league. Slot is indeed highly adaptable tactically if Feyenoord supporters are to be believed. Lastly, making any connection to last season's collapse is completely nonsensical. The constant need for comebacks due to conceding first so often just took their toll physically and the players ran out of steam about 6 or 7 games too early.

United can’t score goals and they’re wide open defensively. I just wouldn’t consider that a tough match for Liverpool. I don’t think it’s nonsensical to look at last season, they are 3 games in and haven’t played a top club yet plus they will need to rotate soon because of champs & int breaks. If we play with just the one number 10 they're nowhere near. Angel Gomes I love as a callup though and he was really good, and Colwill as a LB/LCB is what we've been crying out for.

He's not a problem in the left hand side at all. It's only been a couple years but how do people forget that Benzema's positioning is literally the exact same? Benzema always went out left to combine with Vini. Hell if people would actually watch Madrid, they'd notice that EVEN RODRYGO as right wing will move out all the way to the left to combine with Vini, because Ancelotti loves to create overloads on one side to switch it to the other and cross it in for which at this time they are missing Kroos. PSG also DID NOT play him on the left and anyone that watched PSG wouldve known that too because even when Neymar left and Barcola played left and Mbappe the great majority of his career has never played left. He played in a two striker system for Monaco on the right, played as a striker for PSG with Neymar, Di Maria, and Barcola all actually playing on the left during Mbappe's time there. What's actually happening here is that Mbappe and Madrid are simply getting used to not just playing 4-3-3 after two years, but also adding Mbappe to the mix and not having Kroos. Within time, Mbappe is going to dominate and Madrid as well. There is no other issue than that. All of y'all just didnt actually watched him play at PSG for saying this. Y'all think he played left wing because he DRIFTED to the leftwing the exact same people are now saying is why he's not performing, make it make sense. Y'all just dont understand what a 'relationist' tactic system is that takes time to get used to and it shows. Remember how bad Rodrygo and Vini performed after Benzema left and Ancelotti adjusted to a 4-4-2 at the start of the season with everybody saying 'Vini can't play in that role' and then they got used to it and those comments died down real quick? Because I remember.

Have you lost ur mind. Vini plays there ( left wing is his position) and right next to him is mbappe so both have the right to share the left flank. Stop the glazing on rodrygo, he shouldn't be in the 11 with the underwhelming last season he had. We need a left footer on the right wing to balance it out. Like we had with Di maria and Bale. Mbappe isn't a good enough winger like when ronaldo came in his first season at real madrid seeing him into many positions. Stop the meat riding on rodrygo, so overrated.

I agree with some points, but also feel it's such a kneejerk reaction. Reactions every game and so early are just pointless. The point I'd make is your view of Kane and Kane is one of the best footballers on the planet. When building from deep you're hard pushed to find a forward who can contribute to building up from deep and so the overall value to the team is through the roof in that regard. When higher up the pitch and Kane dropping off I admittedly found this disappointing as you had Kane dropping off as well as Grealish in the hole and no one forward to offer a throughball or push the defence back...but I feel this will improve with understanding. Kane's ability on the ball is absolutely beyond any other striker England has and he's a lethal striker on top of that. I feel it's more an understanding throughout the team to work around Kane as he offers much more to the overall play
